영문 초록

  The purpose of study is to find the relation between maximal oxygen uptake and cardiovascular disease risk factors.
  We can draw the following conculsion using the data measured from seventeen male adults aged 40 to 60.
  (1) Maximal oxygen uptake shows significant negative correlation with respect to Rest Heart Rate, Total Cholesterol, Triglyceride;and significant positive correlation with respect to High Density Lipoprotein - Cholesterol.
  (2) The cardiovascular disease risk factors adopted at this study by multiple regression explain 52% of maximal oxygen uptake.
  (3) By stepwise regression Triglyceride proves to be the most explanatory factor which explain 40% of total variance.
  Accordingly if increase the maximal oxygen uptake through regular aerobic exercise we can reduce cardiovascular disease risk factors.
