영문 초록

  This article attempted to answer the question of how the American Far Right or Radical Right was related to the “Christian Identity” Movement, a marginal religious movement originated in the “British-Israelism” of the Great Britain. In revealing their relationships, the author tried to trace the historical and ideological lineage of millenialism, Anglo-Saxon Israelism, white racism, anti-Semitism, anti-communism, Ku Klux Klan ideas, and survivalism.
  The “Christian Identity” theology has been built around the following three key beliefs. First, it believes that the Anglo-Saxons, the white Aryans, are descendants of the Biblical tribes of ancient Israel and thus are destined to do God"s work on earth. Second, it believes that the Jews not only have no connection with ancient Israelites, but they are also the very children of the Devil. Third, it believes that the world is on the verge of the final, apocalyptical war of Armageddon between Aryans and Jews.
  Such a demonization of Jews has led to the concept of the “Jewish conspiracy” maneuvering both to overthrow the U.S. government and to build a left-leaning One World Government such as the United Nations. And such a concept has led to the formation of anti-Semitic, anti-Multicultural, anti-Leftist, anti-Feminist radical organizations like the Aryan Nations, the Order, the Christian-Patriots Defense League, the Covenant-Sword-and-Arm of the Lord.
