학교평생교육 운영모형 개발을 위한 시론

국문 초록

  평생학습사회의 도래는 전통적으로 학령기의 학생 교육을 위주로 운영되어온 학교 기능의 변화를 요청하고 있다. 급격한 사회의 변천으로 인하여 이제 학교는 학생뿐만 아니라 지역사회주민 전체를 대상으로 하는 평생학습의 장(場)으로 지역주민의 사회 참여와 활동 센터로 거듭나야 하는 시점이다. 이 연구는 이 같은 시각에서 현재까지의 학교기능을 확대하여 학교를 학생을 포함한 지역사회 주민 전체의 평생학습장으로 변화시키기 위한 시도로 이루어졌다. 이를 위하여 우리 나라와 외국의 학교평생교육 사례를 중심으로 학교평생교육 운영형태와 모형을 분석하고, 학교평생교육에 대한 선행연구물을 중심으로 학교평생교육의 문제점을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 우리나라 학교평생교육 모형안을 제시하였다. 이 같은 연구는 향후 학교평생교육 운영모형을 개발하기 위한 시론적 차원의 시도이다.

영문 초록

  The arrival of lifetime learning community requires changes in school functions which is traditionally being operated centered on educating the school age students. The schools must be reborn as a local community participation center as a place to provide lifetime learning opportunity for entire local community residents and not only for the students with the arrival of the knowledge-based information society, five day workweek society and leisure time society. In such viewpoint, this research has been performed as an attempt to change schools into lifetime learning center for students and entire local community residents. For this, the form of school lifetime learning operation and model has been analyzed and the problems of lifetime learning in schools has been analyzed through in-depth interview with participants of school lifetime learning. Based on these results, a model program for students, parents and local residents who are the subjects of lifetime learning in the school.
