학습의 자기주도성과 팀내 대인관계기술의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 직장 내 근로자의 개인특성으로서 학습에 대한 자기주도성과 건강한 팀 빌딩의 전제 조건인 대인관계기술의 관계를 실증적으로 탐구하였다. 본 연구의 이론적 배경은 선행연구들에서 밝혀진 자기주도성이 높은 학습자의 개인 특성인 집단주의적 본성에 기초한다. 즉 자기주도성이 높은 학습자들은 학습과정에 있어서 독립적이고 자율적인 존재이면서 동시에 타인과의 관계를 존중하고 공유된 목표달성을 위하여 정보를 공유.실천할 수 있는 강한 의지와 능력을 가진 적극적 주체이다. 본 연구는 서울소재 한 보험회사에 소속된 211명의 사무직 직원을 모집단으로 하여 119개의 회수된 설문지(응답률: 56.4%)를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 전반적으로 자기주도학습 준비도가 대인관계기술을 예측할 수 있는 의미 있는 변수임을 보였다. 특히 자기주도학습 준비도는 전체적인 대인관계기술과 함께 하위 변수 중 갈등해결 및 협력적 문제해결과 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 연구결과에 기초한 학문적 의의와 실천적 함의에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Based on self-directed learners' collective nature as a personal characteristic, this study investigated whether SDL readiness can be a meaningful variable to predict interpersonal skills characterized by conflict resolution, collaborative problem solving, and communication. In other words, this study was to explore whether employees who possess higher SDL readiness are able to be successful team members with high level of interpersonal skills. Two additional independent variables, which were previously found as related variables to influence interpersonal skills, were included. It was to see the extent to which the variance of interpersonal skills can be explained by SDL readiness after controlling for those additional variables. 119 administrative workers in one of the largest life insurance companies of Korea were participated. To address the research purpose, the data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression analyses. This study found that SDL readiness was generally predictive of interpersonal skills. Findings from this study show that employees who possess skills and attitudes frequently associated with SDL are more likely to resolve conflicts with team members and attempt to find solutions that satisfy all members. They also tended to trust team members, share their experience with team members, and collaborate with team members toward problem solving. However, SDL readiness failed to predict communication dimension. Finally this study includes some implications for both further research and practitioners.
