국문 초록

본 연구는 가치를 생산하는 생산적 부문 내의 산업들을 대상으로 생산된 가치의 산업간 분배구조 및 변동요인을 분석하고 있다. 본 연구는 이를 위해 개별산업에서의 1시간 구체노동이 사회적 가치로 전화되는 비율인 ‘가치평가도(G)’라는 개념을 도입해 분석을 시도하고 있다. 또한 ‘가치평가도(G)’라는 개념을 도입할 경우 산업간 가치분배구조의 변화는 상대가격구조의 변화 및 산업간 생산성 격차에 의해 설명될 수 있음을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 모형에 기초해 1983 - 2003년 기간에 걸쳐 한국경제에서 산업간 가치분배구조의 변화 및 변동요인을 실증적으로 분석하고 있으며, 이를 통해 얻은 몇 가지 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석대상 전기간에 걸쳐 가치분배구조상 가장 유리한 산업은 제조업이었으며, 또한 제조업이 갖는 이러한 경쟁적 우위는 점차 확대되어 왔다. 둘째, 제조업이 갖는 가치분배구조상의 경쟁적 우위는 상대가격구조의 변화보다는 타산업과의 생산성 격차를 통해 설명될 수 있었다. 셋째, 한국경제에서 가지분배구조상 경쟁적 우위를 확보하는 데 보다 중요한 요인은 상대가격의 변화보다는 생산성의 변화였다. 따라서 분석대상 기간동안 한국경제에서 인플레이션의 불균등한 진행 등과 같은 상대가격구조를 왜곡시키는 화폐적 요인들이 적어도 개별산업 부문에서 진행된 생산성 증가효과를 상쇄할 만큼 하나의 구조적 요인으로 작용하지는 않았다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural changes of value distribution between industries and the causes of these changes in the korean economy during 1983-2003. For this purpose, this study introduces a new concept of ‘the social valuation degree of labor(G)' in the analysis, which is the rate of converting the concrete labor of one hour in an individual industry into the social Abstractlabor or social value. If we accept the concept of ‘the social valuation degree of labor(G)', we can also show that the structural changes of value distribution between industries are explained by two causes, that is to say, the changes of relative prices and the differences of productivity between industries. According to these concepts, this study performs an empirical analysis to the korean economy and comes to get the results as follows. First, manufacturing industry, as a gaining sector, has continuously taken a superior position to other industries in the structure of value distribution since 1980s. Second, the superior position of manufacturing industry in the structure of value distribution is explained by the superior productivity to other industries rather than the advantage in the changes of relative prices. Finally, in the korean economy, the productivity of individual industry has been more important factor than the relative prices to determine the competitive position in the structure of value distribution. Consequently, we can say that, like inflationary effects that could distort the structure of relative prices, monetary factors has not dominantly worked on the korean economy enough to offset the effect of productivity on the structure of value distribution.
