국문 초록

본 연구는 조선 후기 실학자 성호 이익의 철학과 감정을 중심으로 현대 박물관 전시 기획 방안을 탐구한다. 성호 이익의 저서 『성호사설』에 담긴 철학적 사유와 감정적 맥락을 재해석하고, 이를 기반으로 몰입형 전시 연출 방안을 제시하였다. 기존 유물 중심의 전시가 학습 효과와 정서적 공감을 제한한다는 문제를 극복하기 위해, 본 연구는 연극적 연출, 일인칭 관점 스토리텔링, 디지털 인터랙티브 기술을 적용하여 관람자의 철학적·정서적 체험을 극대화하는 전시 기획을 논의한다. 특히, 성호 이익의 자연 관찰, 인간 관계, 실천적 철학을 현대적 맥락에서 재구성함으로써 박물관 전시가 단순한 정보 전달을 넘어 철학적 메시지의 실천 가능성을 제시하는 공간으로 기능할 수 있음을 모색하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 전시 디자인의 새로운 방향성을 제안하며, 철학적 메시지의 현대적 실천 가능성을 확장하는 데 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study explores exhibition planning strategies for contemporary museums centered on the philosophy and emotions of Sungho Yi-Ik, a late Joseon Dynasty scholar of practical learning (Silhak). By reinterpreting the philosophical reasoning and emotional contexts embedded in SeonghoSaseol (The Miscellaneous Writings of Seongho), the study proposes immersive exhibition production methods. To overcome the limitations of artifact-centered exhibitions, which often restrict educational impact and emotional engagement, this research incorporates theatrical production, firstperson narrative storytelling, and digital interactive technologies to maximize visitors’ philosophical and emotional experiences. In particular, the study reconfigures Sungho Yi-Ik’s observations of nature, human relationships, and practical philosophy within a modern framework. This approach positions museum exhibitions as spaces that transcend mere information delivery, offering opportunities to practice philosophical messages in contemporary contexts. Through this, the study aims to propose a new direction for exhibition design while contributing to the expansion of the practical applicability of philosophical messages in the modern era.
