국문 초록

본 연구는 생성형 AI(ChatGPT)를 활용한 쓰기 학습에서 고급 한 국어 학습자들의 인식을 조사하기 위해, 학습자들이 한 학기 동안 ChatGPT를 활용한 쓰기 수업에 참여한 결과를 분석하였다. 학기 초에 비해 쓰기 자신감이 유의미하게 상승했으며, 아이디어 구상과 어휘 학습 에 큰 도움이 되었던 것으로 나타났다. 반면, ChatGPT의 피드백이 학습 자의 의도와 다르게 수정되거나, 긴 설명과 어려운 어휘로 혼란을 주는 경우도 있었다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 생성형 AI는 자기주도적 학습을 지원 하는 도구로서 가능성을 보였으며, 교사의 피드백과 병행할 때 더 효과적 이라는 시사점을 제공하였다. 이 연구는 학습자 차원에서 한국어 교육에 서 생성형 AI 활용의 장단점을 이해하고 효과적인 혼합형 학습 모델 개 발의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the perceptions of advanced Korean learners regarding the use of generative AI, specifically ChatGPT, in writing instruction. To achieve this, learners participated in a semester-long writing course integrating ChatGPT as a learning tool. The findings indicate a significant increase in writing confidence compared to the beginning of the semester, with learners reporting substantial benefits in idea generation and vocabulary acquisition. However, challenges arose when ChatGPT’s feedback did not align with the learners' intentions, often providing overly detailed explanations or using vocabulary beyond their proficiency level. Despite these limitations, the study highlights the potential of generative AI to support self-directed learning when combined with teacher feedback. This research underscores the advantages and limitations of generative AI in Korean writing education and suggests that a blended feedback approach integrating AI and human instruction can enhance learning outcomes. The results offer valuable insights for incorporating AI tools into future Korean language curricula.
