국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 분리되지 않는 접속문을 구성하는 초급 연결어미를 분석하여 이유와 원인을 파악하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 교육 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 한국어와 유형학적으로 다른 언어를 모어로 사용하는 한국어 학습자에게 연결어미와 연결어미로 이어진 문장을 설명할 때 문장을 분리하여 설명하는 것이 효과적일 수 있다. 초급 학습자가 학습하는 연결어미로 이어진 문장들을 다음과 같은 기준으로 분리 시도하였다. 첫째, 연결어미를 중심으로 문장을 나누었을 때 서법과 시제에 바뀜없이 적절한 종결어미로 문장이 나뉘어야 한다. 둘째, 두 문장을 해당 연결어미가 가지고 있는 의미 그대로 연결할 수 있는 접속사로 연결할 수 있어야 한다. 분석 결과, 어떤 연결어미로 이어진 문장은 분리가 되지 않는데 문장 곧 연결어미가 가지고 있는 공통된 이유는 해당 연결어미를 대체할 접속부사가 없다는 것이다. 이에 본고는 해당 연결어미가 가지고 있는 의미를 접속부사가 아닌 적절한 부사나 부사구를 사용해 풀어서 설 명할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze Korean connective endings for beginners that make up non-separable conjoined sentences, identify the reason and cause, and suggest an effective teaching strategy based on the results. When explaining and teaching sentences connected with connective endings to Korean language learners whose mother languages are typologically different from Korean, it can be effective to explain by separating the sentences. To achieve this goal, an attempt was made to separate sentences connected with connective endings for beginner Korean learners with the following criteria. First, when separating a sentence with a connective ending as the center, the sentence must be divided into two sentences with appropriate final endings without changing mood or tense. Second, there must be a proper conjunction that can connect two divided sentences without changing the exact meaning of the connective ending. As a result of the analysis, sentences connected with certain connective endings cannot be separated, and the only common reason was that there are no conjunctions to replace the connective endings. Accordingly, this paper proposed to explain the meaning of the connective endings that make up non-separable sentences using an appropriate adverb or adverbial phrase rather than conjunctions.
