노인의 사회참여 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 1979년부터 2023년까지 수행된 노인의 사회참여에 대한 연구동향을 파악하여, 노인의 사회참여에 대한 연구방향을 제시하고 사회복지 실천과 정책을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 1979년부터 2023년까지 노인의 사회참여에 대해 학술지에 게재된 연구논문을 PRISMA 절차에 따라 선정하였으며, 그 중 논문 712편의 논문이 최종 분석 자료에 포함되었다. 그 결과, 2004년을 기준으로 사회참여 관련 논문이 급격히 증가되었다. 또한 여성노인과 남성노인이 모두 남녀가 포함되고, 비교적 건강한 노인을 대상으로 하는 연구가 대부분이었다. 연령대는 신노년과 중고령 노인 등 연령이 확장된 형태의 논문이 게재된 것을 알 수 있었다. 연구주제는 체육 및 여가활동이 지속적으로 증가하고 있으나, 사회참여와 사회활동이 최근 많이 연구된 것으로 나타났다. 연구방법은 양적연구가 대부분으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 사회참여 및 연령대 기준에 대한 재논의 필요하고 사회복지서비스가 필요한 노인들의 사회참여에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다고 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify research trends on the social participation of the elderly published from 1979 to 2023, suggest research directions for the social participation of the elderly, and propose social welfare practices and policies. For this purpose, studies published in academic journals on the social participation of the elderly from 1979 to 2023 were selected according to the PRISMA procedure, of which 712 studies were included in the final analysis data. As a result, the number of studies related to social participation has increased rapidly since 2004. In addition, most studies included both male and female elderly people and targeted generally healthy elderly people. Regarding the age range, it was found that studies with an expanded age range, such as new elderly and middle-aged elderly, were published. The studies topic is sports and leisure activities, which are continuously increasing, but social participation and social activities have been studied a lot recently. The research method was mostly quantitative research. Based on the research results, it was suggested that social participation and age standards need to be re-discussed and that follow-up studies on the social participation of elderly people in need of social welfare services is needed.
