국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 시니어의 향유신념이 성공적인 노화에 미치는 영향에서 활동 경험으로서의 사회적 지지와 자아통합감의 이중 매개효과를 알아보고자 한다. 특히, 노화 과정에서 긍정적인 향유신념을 유지하고 자아통합감을 발전시키는 데 도움이 되는 사회적 지지의 역할을 강조하며, 이를 통해 노년기를 더욱 의미 있는 시기로 만들기 위한 전략을 탐구할 것이다. 이 연구를 통해 향유신념, 사회적 지지와 자아통합감의 심리학적인 작용 메커니즘과 상호작용을 이해함으로써, 시니어의 성공적인 노화를 지원하는 심리적, 개인 및 사회적인 개입 방안을 알아보고자 한다. 연구 결과에서 첫째, 시니어의 향유신념과 성공적 노화의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 자아통합감의 단일 매개효과가 유의하였다. 둘째, 시니어의 향유신념은 사회적 지지와 자아통합감을 거쳐 성공적 노화로 향하는 순차적인 이중 매개 경로가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 시니어의 성공적인 노화를 위해서 향유신념과 사회적 지지, 자아통합감을 강화하기 위한 심리적 개입 방안을 충분히 고려해야 함에 대한 필요성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the dual mediating effects of social support and ego-integration as experiences of activity in the impact of seniors' savoring beliefs on successful aging. In particular, it emphasizes the role of social support in maintaining positive savoring beliefs and developing egointegration during the aging process, exploring strategies to make old age a more meaningful period. Through this research, by understanding the psychological mechanisms and interactions of savoring beliefs, social support, and ego-integration, we aim to explore psychological, personal, and social interventions that support successful aging in seniors. The research results showed that first, the single mediating effects of social support and ego-integration in the relationship between seniors' savoring beliefs and successful aging were significant. Second, a sequential dual mediating pathway was confirmed, where seniors' savoring beliefs lead to successful aging through social support and egointegration. Based on these results, the necessity of sufficiently considering psychological intervention methods to enhance savoring beliefs, social support, and ego-integration for successful aging in seniors was discussed.
