국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 SNS 상향비교가 양육불안을 통해 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에서 지각된 배우자 지지가 미치는 영향을 살피고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법: 유아기 자녀가 있는 어머니의 양육효능감, SNS 상향비교, 양육불안과 지각된 배우자 지지를 온라인설문 방식으로 육아 커뮤니티 지역 맘카페를 통해 수집하였으며, 연구 목적에 맞게 선별 단계를 거친 후 총 364부를 연구 자료로 사용하였다. IBM SPSS 25.0과 SPSS PROCESS (ver 4.1)를 통해 기술통계 분석, 상관 및 위계적 회귀분석을 적용한 조절된 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, SNS 상향비교가 양육효능감에 미치는 주효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 매개효과 검증결과 SNS 상향비교와 양육효능감의 관계에서 양육불안이 부분매개하였다. 셋째, 양육불안과 양육효능감의 관계를 지각된 배우자 지지가 조절하였으며, 이는 지각된 배우자 지지가 평균 이상인 경우에만 유의했다. 넷째, 지각된 배우자 지지가 평균 이상인 집단에서만 SNS 상향비교와 양육효능감의 관계를 양육불안이 매개할 때, 양육불안과 양육효능감의 관계를 지각된 배우자 지지가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니가 SNS를 통해 상향비교를 함으로써 양육효능감이 저하되는 것을 방지하기 위해서는 적절한 SNS 사용 전략, 배우자 지지, 그리고 양육 불안에 대한 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. 아울러 배우자 지지가 작용하는 데 영향을 미치는 어머니의 심리적 요인에 대한 추가적 탐색이 필요함을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study aimed to examine the influence of infant mothers’ SNS upward comparison on parenting efficacy through the mediation of parenting anxiety and the moderating effect of perceived marital support. Methods: A total of 364 mothers of young children (aged three, four, and five years) completed measures to assess their self-evaluation of parenting efficacy, SNS upward comparison, parenting anxiety, and perceived marital support. Results: First, the main effect of the upward comparison of SNS scores on parenting efficacy revealed significant results. Second, parenting anxiety mediated the relationship between SNS upward comparisons and parenting efficacy. Third, perceived marital support moderated the relationship between parenting anxiety and parenting efficacy, and this moderating effect was significant only when perceived marital support was above average. Fourth, the process of upward SNS comparison affecting parenting efficacy mediated by parenting anxiety was moderated by perceived marital support, and the moderated mediating effect was significant when perceived spousal support was above average. Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that to prevent a decline in parenting efficacy owing to upward SNS comparison among mothers of young children, implementing appropriate SNS usage strategies and interventions in marital support and parenting anxiety is necessary.
