국문 초록

한국의 교육문제와 위기에 대한 담론은 늘 다양하게 존재해왔고, 지금도 여러 방식으로 생산, 재생산되면 유포되고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 한국 교육문제에 대해서 숙고할 수 있는 하나의 이론적 조망으로서 Bruner가 제안한 내러티브 이론을 중심으로 논의하고 그 기반 위에서 한국 교육의 방향과 미래 전망을 해보는 목적으로 수행되었다. 한국 교육의 실패를 진단하고 여기에서 새로운 희망의 구성은 인간교육론의 구성으로 가능하며, 그 이론적 토대로서 내러티브 이론에 주목할 필요가 있다. 현재 무리하게 논의되는 미래교육에 대한 낭만적 이야기들은 교육의 본질과 목적, 인간 존재 방식에 대한 심각한 논의가 결여된 채로 매우 관료적, 행정적으로 접근하는 경향을 보인다. Bruner의 논의에 의하면 내러티브 존재로서 인간의 자아 구성에 주목하여 교육의 언어를 새롭게 창조하는 길에서 한국 교육의 희망을 새게 모색할 수 있는 가능성이 열릴 것이다. 이러한 기대와 목적을 달성하기 위하여 관련된 핵심 주제들을 탐색해볼 것이다.

영문 초록

It can be said that the discourse on education problems and crises in Korea has always existed in various ways, and it is still being produced and reproduced and disseminated in various ways. The purpose of this study is to discuss the narrative theory proposed by Bruner as a theoretical perspective for discussing the issue of Korean education, and to examine the direction and future prospects of Korean education based on this theory. Diagnosing the failure of Korean education and constructing a new hope here is possible through the construction of the theory of human education, and it is necessary to pay attention to narrative theory as its theoretical foundation. The romantic narratives about the future of education, which are currently being discussed unreasonably, tend to be very bureaucratic and administrative, lacking authentic discussions about the nature and purpose of education and the way of human existence. According to Bruner's discussion, the possibility of renewing the hope of Korean education will be opened up in the path of recreating the language of education by focusing on the construction of the human self as a narrative being. In order to achieve these expectations and objectives, the main issues to approaching these objectives was discussed.
