은유 분석을 통한 예비유아교사의 장애인식 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 은유 분석을 통해 나타난 예비유아교사의 장애 및 장애 영유아 교사에 대한 인식유형을 살펴보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 85명을 대상으로 장애(장애 영유아 교사)는 (이)다. 왜냐하면 (이)기 때문이다.’로 문장을 완성하게 하는 개방형 질문지 조사를 하였고, 수집된 자료 분석은 Saban(2010)과 Saban 외(2006)의 연구절차에 따라 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 장애에 대한 인식유형은 개인적 관점과 사회적 관점에 따라 개인적-한계 유형, 개인적-다양성 유형, 사회적-한계 유형, 사회적-지지 유형, 사회적-다양성 유형의 5가지 유형으로 나타났고 개인적-다양성 유형이 가장 많이 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 장애 영유아 교사에 대한 인식유형은 긍정적 관점과 부정적 관점에 따라 긍정-보호역할 유형, 긍정-사회역할 유형, 긍정-교사역할 유형, 부정-사회역할 유형의 4가지 유형으로 나타났고 긍정-교사역할 유형이 가장 많이 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 예비유아교사 양성과정에서 특수 관련 교과목 운영 방향 설정 및 장애인식 개선을 위한 예비유아교사 교육방향 설정을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였는데 의의를 두고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the recognition types of pre-service early childhood teachers regarding disabilities and teachers for students with disabilities through metaphor analysis. For this purpose, data were collected through an open-ended questionnaire survey in which 85 pre-service early childhood teachers completed sentences. Data analysis was conducted following the research procedures of Saban (2010) and Saban et al. (2006). The results were as follows: First, according to personal and social perspectives, the recognition type of pre-service early childhood teachers regarding disability was divided into five types: personal limitation, personal diversity, social limitation, social support, and social diversity, where personal diversity appeared most frequently. Second, according to positive and negative perspectives, four recognition types were identified: positive protection, positive social, positive teacher, and negative social role types, of which the positive teacher role type appeared most frequently. The results of this study are significant in providing basic data for the establishment of directions for the operation of special-related subjects and for pre-service early childhood teacher education to improve the awareness of disabilities in pre-service early childhood teacher training courses.
