사진 분야 문화예술교육사의 장애학생 사진교육 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사진 문화예술교육에서 충분히 다루지 못한 장애학생 사진교육에 대한 문화예술교육사 경험의 의미를 탐색하기 위해 연구 참여자 3인의 이야기를 질적 연구 방법인 내러티브 탐구로 수행하였다. 연구자 자신의 경험에서 비롯된 연구 퍼즐은 첫째, 장애학생 사진교육 시작의 계기와 특수교육현장에서 사진교육을 계속 또는 중단하게 하는 것은 무엇인가? 둘째, 장애학생 사진교육 현장에서 마주하는 고민과 이를 발견하고 발전하는 과정에서 나타난 변화는 무엇인가? 셋째, 장애학생에게 사진교육의 방향과 기대는 무엇인가?로 구성되어 연구를 이끄는 기준이 되었다. 연구 참여자가 살아낸 이야기 탐색을 통해 드러난 경험의 의미는 다음과 같이 도출되었다. 첫째, 장애학생 사진교육의 과정은 한계와 가능성의 해체와 조립을 통해 문화예술교육으로서 사진교육의 방향과 역할을 재정의 하고 있으며 둘째, 역량개발과 성찰을 통해 사진 분야 문화예술교육사가 가져야 할 태도와 자세를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 사진교육의 의미는 장애학생과 문화예술교육사 모두에게 쉼이자 경험을 통한 세상과의 소통임을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구자는 본 연구가 사진 문화예술교육의 개별 이해를 넘어 문화예술교육의 총체적인 이해를 위한 탐구를 도와 문화예술교육의 개인, 공동체, 문화, 사회의 다양한 내러티브를 형성하고 정책적, 행정적, 실질적 지원 및 개발에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore meaning of three art and culture education instructor’s experiences in their photo education for students with disabilities which has not been fully addressed in the arts and culture education so far and thus, the narrative inquiry is carried out in this study as it’s qualitative research method. Research puzzles based on the researcher’s experience are as follows: first, how does photo education for students with disabilities begin and what makes it continue or get interrupted in the special education field? Second, what are the concerns in photo education for students with disabilities and how do they change in the process of discovery and development? Thirdly, what can be expected from this class from the perspective of the students with disabilities? Those questions set standards for the research. As a result: First, dismantling and assembling limitation and possibility; second, competency improvement and self-examination; and third, communication through the rest and experience. It turns out the photo education for the students with disability by the art and culture education instructor through narrative inquiry means getting through endless questions and objective exploration to recognize each other as ‘us’ and carry on together in the space of life that extends to the society beyond the education space. It's expected that this study could help explore to fully understand the arts and culture education for the disabilities and the photo education.
