국문 초록

본 연구는 중년남성의 낙인과 전문적 도움추구의 관계를 파악하기 위한 연구이다. 우선, 선행연구들에서 혼재하여 사용되는 두 가지 모형의 적합도를 비교하여 더욱 적합한 모형을 도출하고자 하였다. 또한 도출된 모형을 검증하여 사회적 낙인과 자기낙인, 전문적 도움추구의 관계를 살펴보고자 하였으며, 중년남성 355명의 자료를 SPSS 21.0과 M-plus 7.2를 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 연구에서 설정된 이론모형이 경쟁모형보다 비교 적합도에서 더욱 우수한 결과를 나타냈다. 둘째로 사회적 낙인과 자기낙인 모두 전문적 도움추구 의도와의 관계에서 전문적 도움추구 태도가 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 중년남성의 전문적 도움추구 증진을 위한 기초자료를 제시하며, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: Middle-aged men in this day and age are experiencing many psychological crises. We conducted a study to reduce the stigma of counseling for middle-aged men suffering from such psychological crises and to come up with measures to promote professional help-seeking behavior. Method: Data was collected online for middle-aged men aged 40 to 60. A total of 355 data points were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and M-plus 7.2. Results: The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of comparing the fit of the model through the fit of the structural equation model, the theoretical model established in the study showed better comparative fit than the competitive model. Second, the mediating effect of the verified model was verified through bootstrapping techniques, and it was found that both social stigma and self stigma were completely mediated by professional help-seeking attitude in relation to professional help-seeking intention. Conclusion: Based on the results of such research, this study can present basic data for promoting the professional help-seeking for middle-aged men. Furthermore, suggestions for further research were discussed.
