국문 초록

본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도유형과 학교생활적응 간의 관계에서 심리적 고통의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 중학생을 위한 상담적 개입의 기초자료를 마련하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 N시에 위치한 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 389명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, SPSS 23.0과 PROCESS Macro의 Model 4를 활용하여, 기술통계, 상관관계, t-검증 및 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 긍정적 부모양육태도와 학교생활적응은 유의미한 정적 상관이 있으며, 부정적 부모양육태도와는 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 심리적 고통은 여학생이 남학생보다 많이 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중학생이 지각한 긍정적 부모양육태도와 학교생활적응과의 관계에서 심리적 고통은 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중학생이 지각한 부정적 부모양육태도와 학교생활적응과의 관계에서 심리적 고통은 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted for the purpose of preparing basic data for counseling interventions for middle school students by verifying the mediating effect of psychological pain in the relationship between the parenting attitude type perceived by middle school students and school adjustment. To this end, 389 students enrolled in middle schools located in N city were surveyed, and descriptive statistics, correlations, t-test, and mediating effects were analyzed using SPSS 23 and PROCESS Macro's Model 4. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between positive parental attitude and school adjustment, and a significant negative correlation with negative parental attitude. Second, it was found that female students perceived psychological pain more than male students. Third, it was found that psychological pain had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the positive parenting attitude perceived by middle school students and school adjustment. Fourth, psychological pain was found to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the negative parenting attitude perceived by middle school students and school adjustment. Based on the results of this study, limitations and suggestions for subsequent studies were discussed.
