국내⋅외 시각중복장애 관련 연구 동향분석(2018∼2022)

국문 초록

이 연구는 국내⋅외 학술지에 게재된 시각중복장애와 관련된 최근 연구를 수집 및분석함으로써 관련 연구의 동향을 고찰하고, 시각중복장애 연구 분야에서의 향후 시각중복장애 연구에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법: 이를 위해 2018년부터 2022년까지 이루어진 시각중복장애 관련 연구 62편을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 선행연구를 기반으로 분석 기준을 설정하였으며, ‘학술지 및 발행 연도, 연구 방법, 연구 주제, 시각중복장애 유형’을 기준으로 하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구 결과: 첫째, 시각중복장애와 관련된 논문을 가장 많이 게재한 학술지는 JVIB와 BJVI였으며, 최근 5년간 시각중복장애 관련 연구가 꾸준히 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구 방법으로는 질적연구가 22편(35.5%)으로 가장 많았으며, 조사연구 16편(25.8%), 문헌연구 13편(21.0%) 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 주제로는 의사소통 및 문해가 10편(16.1%)으로 가장 많았으며, 실태조사 연구 9편(14.5%), 교사 관련 연구 8편(12.9%) 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 시각청각장애 연구참여자가 2,224명(52.5%)으로 가장 많았으며, 시각청각장애와 지적장애가 있는 연구참여자가 984명(23.2%)으로 나타났다. 결론: 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 시각중복장애 관련 연구에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to assess recent research trends in the field of visual impairment with multiple disabilities by systematically gathering and analyzing recent publications from both international and domestic academic journals. Its primary objective is to provide fundamental data to support future research endeavors in the field of visual impairment with multiple disabilities. Method: A total of 62 related to visual impairment with multiple disabilities conducted from 2018 to 2022 were analyzed using the following criteria: publication and year, research methodology, research topics, and additional types of disabilities other than visual impairment to assess research trends. Results: The results are summarized as follows. First, the academic journals that published the most papers were JVIB and BJVI, and research has been consistently conducted over the past 5 years. Second, in terms of research methods, qualitative studies accounted for 22 papers(35.5%), survey studies for 16 papers (25.8%). Third, the most common research themes were communication and literacy with 10 papers(16.1%), followed by prevalence studies and teacher-related studies with 9 papers(14.5%). Fourth, participants with deafblind were the most common, totaling 2,224 individuals(52.5%), followed by participants with deafblind along with intellectual disabilities, totaling 984 individuals(23.2%). Conclusion: Based on these results, the implications for future research related to visual impairment with multiple disabilities were discussed.
