국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생이 지각한 사회적지지, 자기효능감, 그리고 학교생활적응 간의 관계를 분석하고, 그릿의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 D시의 초등학교 5⋅6학년 남학생 173명, 여학생 173명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0을활용하여 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 기술통계, 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형, 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적지지와 자기효능감은 그릿에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사회적지지, 자기효능감과 그릿은 학교생활적응에 직접 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 그릿은 사회적지지와 학교생활적응 사이를 매개하였다. 넷째, 그릿은 자기효능감과 학교생활적응 사이를 매개하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 그릿이 초등학생의 학교생활적응 증진에 있어 직⋅간접적인 영향을 미치는 중요 변인이며 사회적지지와 자기효능감은 학교생활적응의 기본이 되는 변인임을확인하였다. 특히, 학교현장에서 그릿의 특성을 이해하여 초등학생의 학교생활적응력 향상을 위한 효과적인 개입전략 프로그램을 개발하는 데 필요한 기초자료를 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship among social support, self-efficacy and school life adjustment, and to verify the mediating effect of grit in ele-mentary school students. For this purpose, online surveys were conducted on 173 male and 173 female students in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school in D city, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. The analysis methods were descriptive statistics, a correlation analysis, a confirmatory factor anaysis, the structural equation modeling(SEM) and bootstrapping. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that both social support and self-efficacy had a positive effect on grit. Second, social support, self-efficacy, and grit directly affected school life adjustment. Third, Grit mediated between social support and school life adjustment. Fourth, Grit mediated be-tween self-efficacy and school life adjustment. These results suggest that grit is an im-portant variable that directly or indirectly affects elementary school students' adjustment to school life, and social support and self-efficacy are the basic variables for school life adjustment. In particular, the study provides basic data to develop an effective program to improve students’ adaptability to school life by understanding the characteristic of grit.
