라이트 박스 훈련을 통한 조기 중재가 자폐 성향 아동의 발달 수준에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적 : 라이트 박스 훈련을 통한 조기 중재가 자폐 성향 아동의 놀이 및 전반적 발달 수준의 향상을 위한 적용 가능성과 효과성을 검증해보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상자는 학령전기 자폐 성향 아동 3명이며, 단일 대상 연구의 AB 설계로 진행하였다. 기초선은 감각 통합 치료, 중재기는 라이트 박스 훈련을 진행하였으며, 각 회기마다 도형 구별하기와 색칠하기의 대상자별 수행을 측정하였다. 아동 발달 수준을 비교 측정하기 위해 Korean Denver Developmental Screening Test-2(K-DDST-2), Korean-Child Development Inventory(K-CDI), Knox Preschool Play Scale(KPPS)를 사용하였다. 결과 분석은 기초선과 중재기의 평균 점수 및 경향 선 분석을 통한 시각적 분석과 사전ㆍ사후 평가 점수의 차이 값을 통해 비교하였다. 결과 : 대상자별 평균 점수 비교 결과, 대상자 A는 도형 구별하기와 색칠하기의 평균 점수가 일정하였으 며, 대상자 B는 도형 구별하기와 색칠하기의 평균 점수가 증가하였다. 대상자 C는 도형 구별하기의 평 균 점수가 일정하였고, 색칠하기의 평균 점수가 증가하였다. 경향선 분석 결과, 대상자 B의 도형 구별하 기, 대상자 B와 대상자 C의 색칠하기에서 기울기가 증가하였다. 사전ㆍ사후 검사 결과, K-DDST-2에 서 대상자 A의 개인-사회성, 미세운동 및 적응, 운동, 대상자 B와 대상자 C의 미세 운동 및 적응, 운동 의 발달 연령이 증가하였다. K-CDI에서 대상자 A와 대상자 C의 사회성, 자조 행동, 대근육, 소근육, 전 체발달, 대상자 B의 자조행동, 대근육, 소근육, 전체발달의 발달 연령이 증가하였다. KPPS에서 대상자 A의 참여를 제외한 모든 영역, 대상자 B의 가상/상징을 제외한 모든 영역, 대상자 C의 공간 운용을 제 외한 모든 영역의 발달 연령이 증가하였다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 조기 중재로써 라이트 박스 훈련이 자폐 성향 아동의 놀이 및 전반적 발달에 긍정적인 효과를 미친 것을 확인하였으며, 자폐 성향 아동의 라이트 박스 훈련 적용 가능성 및 효과성을 검증하였다.

영문 초록

Objective: Early intervention through light-box-training aims to verify the applicability and effectiveness of children with autistic features to improve their play and pervasive developmental levels. Methods: This study were three pre-school-age children with autistic features, and the study was conducted with an AB single-subject design. The baseline period was sensory integration therapy, and the intervention period was light-box-training, and the performance of each subject was measured through an evaluation of the shape discrimination and color a image during each session. Korean Denver Developmental Screening Test-2 (K-DDST-2), Korean-Child Development Inventory (K-CDI), and Knox Preschool Scale (KPPS) were used, and the resulting analysis was confirmed based on the average score of the baseline and intervention periods, a visual analysis through a trend line analysis, and the difference between pre- and post-test scores. Results: As a result of each subject's performance, for subject A, the average score in shape discrimination and color image was constant, and for subject B, the average score in shape discrimination and color image increased. Subject C’s average score in shape discrimination was constant, and the average score for the color image increased. As a result of the pre- and post-tests, in K-DDST-2, the personal-social, fine motor-adaptive, and gross motor developmental age increased in Subject A, and subjects B and C had increased fine motor-adaptive and gross motor development age. In K-CDI, subjects A, B, and C all showed total increases in development, self-help behavior, and gross motor and fine motor development ages. In the KPPS, all areas except the participation of subject A, all areas except the virtual-symbol of subject B, and the development age of all areas except the spatial operation of subject C were increased. Conclusion: This study confirmed that light-box-training has a positive effect on the play and pervasive development level of autistic features in children as an early intervention, and verified the applicability and effectiveness of light-box-training in children with such features.
