안구운동을 포함한 컴퓨터 기반 주의력 훈련프로그램이 장애아동의 주의력에 미치는 효과: 임상증례보고

국문 초록

목적 : 본 연구는 안구운동 중 안구추적, 안구도약, 안구고정을 동반한 컴퓨터 기반 주의력 훈련이 장애 아 동의 주의력 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하기 위함이다. 연구방법 : 주의력에 문제 있다고 판단한 4명의 아동에게 8주 동안 총 24회 안구운동이 동반된 주의력 훈련을 집중적으로 실시하였다. 주의력의 변화를 확인하기 위해 종합주의력 검사(Comprehensive Attention Test; CAT)와 별지우기 검사를 실시하였다. 중재 도구는 안구운동을 입력장치로 연동한 컴퓨터 기반 주의 력 훈련 프로그램을 사용하였고 안구운동 훈련과 주의력 콘텐츠를 주로 사용하였다. 결과 : 중재 후 선택적 주의력, 간섭 선택적 주의력, 지속적 주의력에 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 참가자는 본 연구에 참여하기 전에 인지훈련을 받았으나 주의력에 변화가 없었다. 안구운동을 포함한 컴퓨터기반 주 의력 프로그램을 시행한 후 여러 주의력 지수가 향상되었다. 특히, 분할 주의력과 작업 기억에서 많은 변화가 나타났는데 별도의 분할 주의력과 작업 기억 훈련 콘텐츠가 제공되지 않았음에도 향상이 있었다. 모든 참가자들은 주의력 영역에서 반응 속도가 향상되었다. 결론 : 안구운동이 동반된 주의력 훈련은 주의력이 저하된 장애 아동의 선택적 주의력, 지속적 주의력, 간 섭 선택적 주의력, 분할 주의력, 정보처리 속도, 작업 기억 영역에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 가능성 을 알 수 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 이동 주의력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 보다 구조화된 실험설계로 효 과검증을 실시할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify some influences on improving attention abilities of disabled children through a computer-based attention program with eye movement (saccade, pursuit, and visual fixation). Method: For this purpose, four children with attention problems participated in a clinical experiment. All participants were evaluated based on a Comprehensive Attention Test (CAT) and Star cancellation test before and after the planned intervention sessions. The intervention tool was a computer–based cognitive rehabilitation program using an input system with eye movement. Interventions were intensively carried out for eight weeks, half an hour per session, three times a week. Results: The results were as follows. Selective attention, flanker task, and sustained attention were improved compared to before the intervention. The attention quotients showed positive changes in attention areas after intervention. The various attention quotients after intervention were higher than before. Furthermore, there were improvements in the attention quotients for the divided attention and working memory areas. All participants increased their response speed AQ in all attention areas. Conclusions: These results indicate that attention training using an eye movement program has an effect on improving the selective attention, sustained attention, and flanker task. In particular, positive influences were shown on divided attention, working memory, and response speed for children with poor attention.
