미술교육에서의 뉴노멀 담론과 제문제

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술교육 영역에서 최근 발표되었던 뉴노멀 관련 연구들의 내용과 경향성을 살펴보고, 앞으로 우리 미술교육의 방향성을 설정하여 뉴노멀을 구축해 나가는 데 필요한 여러 문제들을 짚어 보고자 하였다. 뉴노멀 담론을 일으키고 중요하게 고려되어야 할 요인으로 크게 디지털 전환, 코로나19 팬데믹, 그리고 기후 환경의 위기의 세 가지를 살펴보았으며, 각각의 항목에 대한 배경과 논의 내용을 살펴봄으로써 뉴노멀 담론의 전반적인 방향성을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 그동안 미술교육 영역에서 발표된 선행연구의 내용을 간략히 개괄하고 이를 내용별로 구분하여 정리하며 결론적으로 다섯 가지의 문제의식을 도출하였다. 첫째, 교육 격차 및 불평등해소의 문제, 둘째, 공동체 의식과 사회성 함양의 문제, 셋째, 학교 미술교육과 디지털 미술 적용의 문제, 전통적 미술 활동 약화에 따른 미술역량 하락에 대한 우려, 그리고 마지막으로 생태적 가치 중심의 미술 활동에 대한 고민이 그것이다. 앞으로 우리에게 닥칠 미래의 모습이 어떠할지는 아무도 명확히 예견할 수 없지만 지금의 우리 사회와 매우 다를 것임은 분명하다. 따라서 본 연구는 빠르게 변화하는 사회, 문화적 상황에서 우리 미술교육이 구축할 뉴노멀은 무엇이며 어떠한 이어가야 할 논의의 내용은 무엇인지를 파악하는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the contents and tendencies of the recently published studies related to the new normal in the field of art education, and aims to set the direction of our art education in the future and to organize the problems needed to establish the new normal. Considering the digital transformation, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the crisis of the climate environment as the factors that cause the new normal discourse and should be considered as important factors, as the drivers, the background and discussion of each item are examined to determine the meaning of the new normal discourse. The overall direction was derived. Based on this, the content of preceding studies published in the field of art education was briefly summarized, classified and organized by content, and finally five critical issues were derived. First, the problem of educational gap and inequality, second, the problem of cultivating community spirit and sociality, third, the problem of school art education and application of digital art, concerns about the decline in art capacity due to the weakening of traditional art activities, and finally, ecological value That is the concern about the central art activity. No one can clearly predict what the future will look like, but it is clear that it will be very different from our existing society. Therefore, this study has its significance in figuring out what the new normal our art education will build in a rapidly changing social and cultural situation,and what the content of the discussion needs to be continued.
