In this study , the researcher first made clear the ten main conflict s perceived by primary school teacher s and investigated differences in the degree of the perception among the teachers . Then the researcher examined what perception s primary school teacher s had regarding three approaches to conflict management , suggested by principals, and then survey ed any possible relations between the approaches and the teachers' actual conflicts . Eternally speaking , this study was performed to look for better way s of conflict management in primary schools and further to determine whether the above mentioned three approaches could be really effect iv e in the improvement of primary school education and organization. To proceed the study , this researcher selected 200 teacher s randomly from 17 primary schools located in Busan . T hen the researcher distributed 200 questionnaire survey forms t o the selected teacher s in accordance with their own primary school location , school size, gender and professional career . Out of the forms , 171(86%) were collected. But finally , 163, deemed properly completed, w ere processed statistically here. There were two types of questionnaire survey form as mean s of the study . The first type, or Questionnaire I asked primary school teacher s about their perceived teacher s and the other type, or Questionnaire II w as used to research conflict management approaches suggested by principals . The finally collected questionnaire forms w ere processed in order to obtain statistical measurement s of frequency , mean and standard deviation . T hen the researcher performed the F - test of the measurements to clarify differences in primary school teacher s ' perceived conflict s according to their own school size and professional career , and t-test to determine such differences depending the respondent s' own school location and gender . And the researcher used correlation and multi- regression analyses to know possible relation s between the above mentioned per ceived conflict s and the principals' approaches t o conflict management.
