사이버대학의 실시간 온라인 수업운영 사례연구

국문 초록

최근 비대면 수업이 새로운 교육 패러다임으로 자리 잡고 있으며, 특히 실시간 온라인 수업에 대한 관심과 적용 사례가 증가하면서 온라인 수업설계와 교수전략에 대한 관심이 많아지고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 사이버대학에서의 실시간 온라인 수업 사례 분석을 통해 보다 효과적인 실시간 온라인 수업 운영전략을 제시하는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 한 학기 동안 시범 운영한 실시간 온라인 수업 운영의 문제점과 개선점을 분석하고, 다음 년도 동일 과목 수업설계에 반영하여 운영한 결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구결과, 사이버대학의 학습자 특성 상 실시간 온라인 수업의 참석률과 만족도는 낮게 나타났으며 그 원인으로는 디지털 격차가 작용함을 알 수 있다. 따라서 학습자들의 요구분석에 기초한 수업설계와 운영전략에 대한 교수자의 전문성과 교수학습지원이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Recently, non-face-to-face classes have been established as a new educational paradigm. In particular, as interest and application cases for real-time online classes increase, interest in online class design and teaching strategies is increasing. The purpose of this study is to present a more effective real-time online class operation strategy through the analysis of real-time online class cases in cyber universities. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, problems and improvements of the real-time online class operation, which was piloted for one semester, were analyzed, and implications were derived based on the results of operation by reflecting them in the class design of the same subject in the following year. As a result of the study, the attendance rate and satisfaction of real-time online classes were low due to the learner characteristics of cyber universities, and it can be seen that the digital divide works as the cause. Therefore, the expertise of instructors and teaching and learning support for class design and operation strategies based on the analysis of learners' needs are required.
