비대면 수업 운영에 대한 교수자의 만족도 조사 연구: S대학교 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

원격수업에서 교수자의 역량은 교수-학습과정 운영과 밀접하게 연계되어 수업모형, 콘텐츠개발, 학습관리등에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 점에서원격수업의 질과 관련하여 매우 중요한 요소에 해당한다. 이 연구는 대학 원격수업의 질 향상을 위한 방안을 탐색하기 위한 것으로 구체적으로 S대학의 2020년도 비대면 수업 운영에 대한 각 요소별 교수자의 의견과 인문사회계과 자연공학계 교수자의 의견의 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2020년 1학기 비대면 수업을 운영한 교수자 289명과 2학기 비대면 수업을 운영한 345명의 교수자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구 도구는 선행연구를 통해 추출한 비대면 수업에 대한 만족도 요소인 전반적 만족도, 수업 준비, 학습 내용 등 7개의 상위요소와 18개의 하위요소로 총 28개의 문항으로 구성된다. 그 결과 첫째, 2020년도 1학기, 2학기를 종합하여 18개의 요소 중 교수자의 열의, 정보 제공 순으로 평균이 높게 나타났으며, 비대면 수업에 대한 전반적인 만족도, 기술적인 문제 항목 순으로 평균이 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 두 개의 계열 간의 만족도 차이를 분석해본 결과 학습참여, 상호작용참여, 수업의 충실성 등에서 자연공학계보다 인문사회계가 유의미한 차이로 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Instructor competency in remote classes is a very important factor in the quality of remote classes in that it is closely linked to the operation of teaching-learning courses and has an important influence on teaching models, content development, and learning management. This study is to explore ways to improve the quality of university remote classes, and specifically, to analyze the differences between instructors' opinions on the operation of non-face-to-face classes at ‘S’ University in 2020 and instructors in humanities and social sciences and natural engineering. To this end, it was conducted for 289 instructors who operated non-face-to-face classes in the first semester of 2020 and 345 instructors who operated non-face-to-face classes in the second semester. The research tool consists of a total of 28 questions with 7 upper elements and 18 lower elements, including overall satisfaction, class preparation, and learning content, which are factors of satisfaction with non-face-to-face classes extracted through previous studies. First, the results of the study showed that the average was high in the order of instructor enthusiasm and information provision among 18 factors, and the average was low in the order of overall satisfaction with non-face-to-face classes and technical problem items. Second, as a result of analyzing the difference in satisfaction between the two categories, it was found that the humanities and society were higher with significant differences than the natural engineering community in learning participation, interaction participation, and class fidelity.
