국문 초록

본 연구는 청년 발달장애인에게 실시한 방과후 평생교육 프로그램의 효과를 분석하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 청년 발달장애인의 방과후 평생교육 프로그램의 중요성과 방향성을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2021년 3월부터 12월까지 약 8개월간 문화예술 교육과 직업기술 프로그램, 지역사회 서비스 이용 등 평생교육 프로그램을 5명에게 실시하였다. 방과후 평생교육 프로그램의 효과성을 측정하기 위해 ‘성취동기 진단검사지’와 ‘성인발달장애인의 삶의 질 측정도구’를 활용하였다. 검사 결과는 대응 t검증을 활용하여 분석하였다. 또한 프로그램 강사들이 프로그램 종료 후 작성한 프로그램 일지를 분석하여 프로그램 이후 개인별로 나타난 성취동기와 삶의 질 변화를 확인하였다. 분석 결과 성취동기와 삶의 질 모두 유의미한 변화가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 문화예술프로그램과 직업기술 프로그램의 중요성을 확인하였으며, 연속수업이라는 프로그램의 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This research aims to confirm the importance of after-school lifelong education programs for youth with developmental disabilities by analyzing the effectiveness of lifelong education program, in improving achievement motivation and quality of life by providing psychological and emotional stability and increasing healthy interdependence. For this, lifelong education programs were carried out to five people for eight months between March to December 2018 and involved culture and arts education, vocational skills programs, and usage of community services. To measure the effectiveness of the lifelong education program, 'achievement motivation diagnostic testing questionnaire' and 'quality-of-life measurement tool for youth with developmental disabilities' were used. The results from these tests were then analyzed using paired t-tests. Also, the program log recorded after the program by the instructors was analyzed to observe changes to motivation achievement and quality of life for participants. The analyses confirmed that there were significant changes in all participants in both motivation achievement and quality of life. Based on these results, this research suggests a plan to improve future lifelong education programs for youth with developmental disabilities.
