국문 초록

본 연구는 학습지 교사가 인식한 멘토의 감성지능과 경력몰입의 관계에서 멘토링 기능의 매개 효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 W사 경인지역본부에서 근무하는 학습지 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 총 347부를 회수하였고, 불성실한 응답자료를 제외하고 총 339부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 인구통계학적 특성 분석을 위한 빈도분석, 연구 변인 간 상관 관계 분석, 측정 도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도 확인을 위한 확인적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석, 가설 검증을 위한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 통계분석을 통해 도출된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습지 교사가 인식하는 멘토 감성지능, 멘토링 기능, 경력몰입은 모두 정적인 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습지 교사가 인식하는 멘토링 기능은 멘토 감성지능과 경력몰입의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이 연구는 학습지 교사가 인식한 멘토의 감성지능, 멘토링 기능, 경력몰입의 관계에 대한 이론적 논의와 멘토링 기능 향상을 위한 실천적 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of mentoring function on the relationship between mentor’s emotional intelligence and career commitment in home study material teachers. To this end, a survey was conducted on teachers located in the home study of W Company located in Gyeong-In regional headquarters Korea, and a total of 347 data were collected. The final 339 data were used for analysis, excluding the data judged to be unfaithful. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed for the analysis of the collected data. The results of this study were as follow. First, home study material teachers’ mentor’s emotional intelligence, mentoring function, and career commitment had positive correlations. Second, home study material teachers’ mentoring function had a mediating effect between mentor’s emotional intelligence and career commitment. Based on these results, this study derived theoretical and practical implications for home study material teachers’ mentor’s emotional intelligence, mentoring function, and career commitment.
