전환기 중학생의 학습동기와 학습전략의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 전환기 중학생들을 대상으로 하여 학습동기와 학습전략이 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 분석하고, 성별에 따른 학습동기와 학습전략의 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산시 소재 G 중학교의 1 학년 전체학생 214명을 대상으로 학습동기와 학습전략에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 두 가지 설문조사에 모두 참여한 205명의 자료를 분석하였다. 결과는 첫째, 전환기 중학생의 학습동기와 학습전략 관계에서는 유의하지만 비교적 낮은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 전환기 중학생들의 학습동기의 차이는 학습동기의 하위요인별로 서로 다르게 나타났다. 학습동기의 학업적 자기효능감의 자신감과 학업적 실패내성의 감정에서 남학생이 여학생보다 높았고, 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 전환기 중학생들의 학습전략과 학습전략의 하위요인에서의 차이는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between academic motivation and learning strategies of middle school students in transitional period. It was also aimed to identify gender differences of academic motivation and learning strategies. For this study, a total of 214 middle school students were asked to answer the questionnaire about academic motivation and learning strategies. The collected 205 data were analyzed by using correlational analysis and t-test. The results of this study were as follows: first, there were significant, but relatively low, correlations between academic motivation and learning strategies. Second, there were significant gender differences in middle school students' academic motivation and sub-factors. The self confidence, feeling score of male students was higher than that of the female students. third, there were no gender differences in middle school students' learning strategies and sub-factors.
