몽고 고등학교 졸업자들의 동기적 신념, 시험 불안, 인지 학습 전략, 그리고 수학 학업 성취도의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 몽고 고등학교를 갓 마친 졸업자들의 동기적 신념, 인지 학습 전략, 시험 불안, 그리고 수학성취도(Test Score of General Examination)의 관계를 탐구하였다. 43개의 문항 질문지가 303명의 고교 졸업생들에게 투입되었다. 이 질문 문항은 선행연구에서 사용된 것들이거나 개발되었으며 특히 동기에 관한 부분은 Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ)에서 사용된 것이었고 구조 방정식 모형으로 자료는 분석되었다. 수학 학업 성취는 인지전략의 효율적 사용 여부와 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 그리고 그 인지 전략 사용 여부는 학생들의 동기적 신념에 영향을 받고 있었다. 또, 긍정적인 동기적 신념이 여러 가지 인지 학습 전략 사용을 촉진할 수 있음이 밝혀졌으며 수학 학업 성취도에 대한 간접적인 효과는 통계적으로 유의하였다. 동기적 신념 및 시험 불안의 수학 성취도에 대한 직접적 효과는 부정적으로 유의하였다. 동기적 신념의 수학 학업 성취에 대한 직접적인 효과의 부정적인 결과는 이전 연구와는 불일치하지만 높은 동기적 신념 만으로는 학업성취를 촉진하기에는 충분치 않다고 해석된다. 결론적으로, 동기 요인이 인지 학습 전략 사용과 긍정적으로 연관되어 있으며 이것이 학업 성취도에 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

The relations among students' motivational beliefs, cognitive strategies using, test anxiety and mathematics achievement of high school newly graduated students in general examination were investigated. A 43- item questionnaire was administered to 303 high school graduating students in Mongolia. The questionnaires was developed and based on Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Results indicated that, students' mathematics achievement related closely to cognitive strategy using. Cognitive strategy using is affected by students' motivational beliefs. In addition, positive motivational beliefs can promote various cognitive learning strategies. Indirect effect of motivational beliefs for mathematics achievement was found high, and s ignificant. Direct effects of motivational beliefs and test anxiety on mathematics achievement are strongly negative and significant. In other words, motivation is positively associated with effective using cognitive learning strategies, which affects their mathematics achievement in general examination.
