국문 초록

본 연구는 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 관련 현행 규정이 개별 학생의 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 관련 규정으로 활용되기에 적절한지 검토하고 개선이 필요한 부분에 대한 요구를 조사하여 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 기준의 개념, 역할, 구성 및 적합성 판단 준거를 중심으로 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 기준의 도입 방향을 탐색하고자 문헌 연구, 설문 조사, 델파이 조사, 전문가 협의회 등을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 현행의 정규 교육과정 이수에 따른 이수 인정 기준이 연간 출석률에 한정되어 있어 고학년으로 갈수록 해당 학습 결손을 해소하는 데 어려움을 겪게 되는 구조를 형성하고 있으며 국내·외 다양한 교육경로에 따른 교육과정 이수 인정 방안의 복잡성과 모호성을 야기하고 있다는 문제점을 도출하였다. 그리고 이를 해소하여 궁극적으로 공교육에서 이루어지는 교과 교육을 정상화키기 위한 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 기준의 도입 방향으로 개념, 역할, 구성 및 적합성 판단 근거를 개발하고, 그에 기반하여 초ㆍ중학교 교육과정 이수 기준 도입의 기대효과와 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine whether the current regulations related to elementary and middle school curriculum completion are appropriate for individual students, and to investigate the needs for improvement, and to explore the direction of introduction of elementary and middle school curriculum completion standards. As a result of conducting literature research, surveys, Delphi surveys, and expert councils, the current standard for completion of regular curriculum is limited to annual attendance rates, which makes it more difficult to resolve the learning deficit. In order to solve this problem and ultimately normalize subject education in public education, the concept, role, composition, and basis for determining suitability were developed in the direction of the introduction of the elementary and middle school curriculum completion standards, and based on that, the expected effect and follow-up study were proposed in this study.
