국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 보치아 직장운동경기부에 속해 있는 뇌성마비 장애인 선수들의 삶의 변화과정을 심층적으로 탐색하여 향후 뇌성마비장애인의 사회적응에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 연구방법은 전국에 분포된 4개의 지자체 소속 뇌성마비 보치아 직장운동경기부 선수 8명이 참여하여 심층면담을 수행하였으며, 이들에게 영향을 주는 개인, 가족, 사회적 맥락을 살펴보고 선수로서의 발전과정에서 나타나는 상호작용에 관해 근거이론방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여자들은‘고립된 삶’,‘장애로 인한 교육과 취업의 장벽’의 인과적 조건에 따라‘좌절 속에서 도전하기’라는 중심현상을 경험하였다. 이 현상은‘삶의 전환점 발견’,‘지지자원의 활용’이라는 맥락적 조건의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고‘자립의 발판 장애인의무고용제’,‘사회적 존재로의 재탄생’,‘장애인활동지원서비스의 양면성’,‘성적유지에 대한 스트레스’라는 중재적 조건에 따라‘자기 주도적 훈련’,‘자립생활 이념의 구현’의 작용/상호작용전략을 활용하였고, 그 결과는‘인정받는 삶으로의 변화’,‘미래 설계의 기대와 불안’으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이러한 과정의 핵심범주는 [좌절과 불안 속에서 희망의 세계 만들어가기]로 나타났다. 제언: 뇌성마비 장애인 선수들의 삶의 변화과정에서 심리적 자본의 특성이 강하게 발현되고 있음이 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 중증의 뇌성마비 장애인이 당당한 사회구성원으로서의 위상을 확보해나가기 위한 실천적 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the life change process of athletes in the cerebral palsy Boccia rectal sports team. The individual, family, and social contexts that affect cerebral palsy Boccia players were examined, and the interactions that appear in the development process as athletes were analyzed and described. To this end, the life change process of eight athletes in the brain paralysis Boccia rectal sports division of four local governments distributed across the country was analyzed as a basis theory. As a result of the study, first, participants experienced the central phenomenon of “challenging in frustration” according to the causal conditions of “abnormal existence” and “discovering a new world of self-realization.” This phenomenon was found to be affected by contextual conditions such as 'use of support resources' and 'barriers to education and employment due to disabilities'. In addition, the action/interaction strategies of “self-directed training” and “implementation of self-reliance ideology” were used according to the mediating conditions of “self-reliance of disabled people's mandatory employment system”, “rebirth as social beings”, and “unstable future”. Second, the core category of this process was found to be [creating a world of hope independently amid frustration and anxiety]. The results of this study can be said to have proudly secured their position as a member of society, not the disabled, in the social perception that people with severe disabilities cannot do anything. Through the results derived by exploring the interactions of these cerebral palsy players in the process of life change, it can be used as basic data for improving the quality of life of the severely disabled in terms of policy and practice.
