MZ세대의 주짓수 참여를 통한 레크리에이션 전문화 과정에 대한 연구

국문 초록

MZ세대의 주짓수 참여자를 통한 레크리에이션 전문화 과정에 대한 연구의 경험을 분석하기 위하여 현상학적 연구방법을 통하여 주짓수 활동 일상과 경험이 변화되는 삶의 의미를 도출하고자 하였다. 이에 주짓수 참여자들의 특성과 경험에서 나타나는 의미와 개념들을 분류하였다. 첫째, 시작에 대한 우연, 다른 스포츠와 차별성, 환경적 제약, 신체적제약, 정체기, 벨트(띠)에 대한 제약요소, 활동기록에 대한 욕구, 기술진전에 대한 노력, 대회참여, 참여의 일상화, 장비에 대한 태도, 신체적 변화, 심적 변화, 과거, 현재 등 총 15개의 하위범주가 도출되었으며, 주짓수 입문, 주짓수 제약, 레크리에이션 전문화, 삶의 변화, 시간의 흐름이라는 총 5개의 상위범주로 나누었다. 둘째, 주짓수 참여자들은 주변 지인이나 매체를 통하여 주짓수에 입문하고 관심을 가질 수 있었으며, 다른 스포츠와 차별성은 주짓수를 참여하는데 큰 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 주짓수 참여자들은 레크리에이션 전문화 과정에 앞서 여가제약을 경험하였다. 넷째, 주짓수 참여자들은 레크리에이션 전문화 과정을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 주짓수 참여자들은 삶의 변화를 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 주짓수 참여자들은 시간에 흐름에 변화를 체험하였으며, 과거에는 본능적인 움직임에 몸을 맡겼더라면 현재는 여유가 생기고 점차 겸손한 태도로 주짓수에 임하고 있다고 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

This study conducts a cross-sectional analysis on the process of Jiu-Jitsu entry to recreation specialization formation process, the research subject being MZ generation participants. In-depth interview was mainly used to collect research data and participation observation method and observation journals were utilized to draw research data. Following, meaning and concepts gathered from Jiu-Jitsu participants’ personal traits and experience were sorted to draw on the following results. First, physical constraints, stagnation, belt constraints, desire for activity records, efforts for advanced technique, contest participation, routinization of participation, attitude towards equipment, physical change, phycological change, past, and present. Second, before Jiu-Jitsu participants were first introduced to Jiu-Jitsu they did not know about Jiu-Jitsu, and through friends or media they could start Jiu-Jitsu and gain interest, and Jiu-Jitsu’s differentiation factor from other sports was found to have played a great role in Jiu-Jitsu participation. Third, Jiu-Jitsu participants experienced leisure restriction prior to the recreation specialization process. Fourth, Jiu-Jitsu participants were found to experience the recreation specialization process. Research participants had an urge for activity documentation and through this they were communicating with others or feeling a sense of belonging. Fifth, Jiu-Jitsu participants were found to experience life changes. Sixth, it was found that in the present they have become relaxed and are performing Jiu-Jitsu with a more modest attitude.
