한국발달장애인의 운동참여여부가 일상생활문제와 직업적 능력과의 관계 : 2021 발달장애인 일과 삶 실태조사 자료 이용

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애인의 운동참여 여부의 현황을 파악하고 운동참여 여부에 따른 일상생활문제와 직업적 능력과의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 본 연구는 한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원에서 2021년 6월부터 9월까지 대한민국에 거주하고 있는 만 15세 이상의 발달장애인 3,000명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 원자료를 절차에 따라 제공받았다. 적절한 응답을 하지 않은 52개의 설문지를 제외하고 2948개의 설문지가 최종분석에 활용되었으며, 통계분석은 SPSS 26.0 program을 사용하여 연구목적에 맞게 빈도분석과 교차분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 발달장애인의 성별, 최종학력, 거주 지역에 따라 운동참여 여부는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p<.01, p<.001). 둘째, 발달장애인의 운동참여 여부는 일상생활문제 요인 중 과체중 및 비만문제 요인에만 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p<.01). 셋째, 발달장애인의 운동참여 여부는 직업적 능력의 모든 요인에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다(p<.001). 이러한 결과는 발달장애인들이 공동체에서 건강한 사회구성원으로 활동하고, 나아가 자립생활을 통해 인권을 확보하기 위해서는 운동참여가 필요하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 발달장애인들의 개인적인 특성, 유형에 따라서 일상생활문제를 해결하고 직업적 능력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 운동프로그램의 개발이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the current status of exercise participation of people with developmental disabilities and to identify differences in daily life problems and occupational abilities according to exercise participation. In this study, the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled's Employment Development Institute conducted a survey of 3,000 people with developmental disabilities aged 15 or older residing in the Republic of Korea from June to September 2021, and received the original data according to the procedure. Excluding 52 questionnaires that did not respond appropriately, 2948 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. For statistical analysis, frequency analysis and chi-square test were conducted using the SPSS 26.0 program. The results are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant difference in exercise participation according to gender, highest level of education, and residence of persons with developmental disabilities (p<.01, p<.001). Second, there was a statistically significant difference only in overweight and obesity problem factors among daily life problem factors in whether people with developmental disabilities participated in exercise (p<.01). Third, there was a statistically significant difference in all factors of occupational ability in the exercise participation of persons with developmental disabilities (p<.001).
