교과융합 수업설계에서 체육과를 활용하는 타 교과의 시선 : 사례와 의미

국문 초록

본 연구는 교과융합 수업설계에서 체육과를 활용하는 타 교과의 사례와 그 의미를 찾고자 하는데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 체계적 문헌분석방법으로 자료를 수집했으며 귀납적 범주 분석 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 타 교과는 각 교과의 목적을 고려하여 체육과를 활용한 융합 수업을 설계하고 있었다. 영어과는 의사소통 향상을위한 대화 및 스포츠와 관련된 어휘와 문장을 가르치기 위해 체육과와 융합하고 있었다. 과학과는 동식물의 모습을표현하는 것, 과학적 원리를 설명하기 위해 체육과와 융합하고 있었다. 수학과는 수학적 원리를 설명하기 위해 체육과와 융합하고 있었다. 음악과는 주로 춤을 통해 체육과와 융합하고 있었다. 교과융합 수업설계에서 체육과를 바라보는 타 교과의 시선은 크게 긍정적 의미의 시선과 부정적 의미의 시선으로 나타나고 있었다. 긍정적 의미의 시선은 융합에 적절한 체육과, 학습에 효과적인 체육과로 나타나고 있었으며, 부정적 의미의 시선은 보조 활동으로활용되는 체육과, 자율적으로 해석되는 체육과로 나타나고 있었다. 앞으로 체육과는 교과 융합 과정에서 체육과의본질이 반영될 수 있도록 융합에 필수적으로 요구되는 체육과의 범위와 수준을 제시할 필요가 있다. 이는 역량 중심의 교과융합 시기에 체육과의 역할을 충분히 발휘할 수 있는 기회로 작용할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find cases and meanings of other subjects that utilize physical education(PE) in subject convergence class design. To this end, data were collected through a systematic literature analysis method, and data were analyzed through an inductive category analysis method. As a result, each subject was designing a convergence class using physical education in consideration of the purpose of each subject. English was converging with PE to teach vocabulary and sentences related to sports and conversation to improve communication. Science was converging with PE to express the appearance of animals and plants and to explain scientific principles. Mathematics was converging with PE to explain mathematical principles. Music was converging with PE through dance. In designing subject convergence classes, the perspectives of other subjects toward PE were largely positive and negative. The positive one considerd PE as a suitable subject for convergence and effective one for learning, and the negative one considerd PE as an auxiliary activity and a subject that interpreted autonomously. In the future, it is necessary to present the range and level of PE required for convergence so that the essence of PE can be reflected in the process of subject convergence. This will act as an opportunity to play a role of physical education in the period of competency-centered subject convergence.
