영유아 놀이 지원 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 지난 10년간 국내의 놀이 지원 및 지도 관련 연구의 동향을 분석하여 교사의 놀이지원 역량을 함양할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 2012년부터 2022년까지 총 67편의 학술지와 학위 논문을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 놀이지원에 관한 연구주제의 흐름을 보았을 때, 유아 주도의 놀이를 지원하기 위한 다양한 방안을 탐색하는 연구들이 이루어졌다. 둘째, 놀이 실행 및 지원과 관련한 연구는 관찰과 면접을 통한 질적 연구가 대부분이었고, 질문지를 통해 인식 및 실태를 알아보는 양적 연구도 일부 실행되었다. 셋째, 유아교사의 놀이지원 역량 강화의 필요성이 대두되고 있으므로, 놀이 지원 역량과 관련한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다. 이러한 결과는 교사의 놀이지원 역량을 함양하기 위해 예비 유아교사 양성과정에서는 영아 대상 놀이지원 방안에 대한 교육과 영유아의 실제 놀이에 대한 경험을 바탕으로 한 ‘놀이지원’의 의미와 실천적 방법에 대한 교육이 이루어져야 하고, 현직 교사를 대상으로는 교사의 놀이지원 역량을 강화시킬 수 있는 다양한 요인에 대한 교육이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to cultivate teachers' play support competences by analyzing trends in domestic play support and guidance-related research over the past 10 years. The results of analyzing a total of 67 academic journals and dissertations from 2012 to 2022 are as follows. First, when analyzing the trend of research topics on play support, studies were conducted to explore various ways to support play led by children. Second, the qualitative research was the predominant research methodology utilizing observation and interview methods. However, quantitative research methods were also conducted with the purpose of finding the perception and reality through questionnaires. Third, since the necessity of strengthening the play support capability of early childhood teachers is emerging, continuous research on the play support capability is needed. As a result, in order to cultivate the teacher's play support competency, education on play support ways for infants should be provided in the pre-service early childhood teachers training process. In addition, education on the meaning and practical method of 'play support' based on the actual play experiences of infants and children should be provided. In conclusion, it is suggested that education on various factors that can strengthen teachers' play support competences should be provided for inservice teachers.
