중학교 기술·가정 교과용도서의 책 구성 방식 개선에 대한 교사의 인식과 요구 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술․가정 교과용도서의 책 구성 방식에 대한 개선 방안을 도출하기 위한 것으로, 현행 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 기술․가정 교과용도서 책 구성에 대한 효과성 및 개선에 대한 교사의 인식을 조사하는데 세부 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교과용도서에 관한 규정, 편찬상의 유의점, 기술․가정 교과용도서에 관한 개선 관련 연구 등의 문헌을 고찰하였다. 아울러 전국의 중학교 기술․가정 교과 교사 대상 온라인 설문 조사를 통하여 ‘현행 교과서 체제의 효과성 및 개선 필요, 교과서 책 구성을 기술편, 가정편으로 재구성하는 방식에 대한 인식, 향후 교과서 개발의 주요 방향’에 대한 인식과 의견을 조사하였다. 조사한 자료의 분석은 SPSS 통계 패키지를 활용하였고 분석에는 빈도분석, 기술통계 및 차이검증의 방법을 사용하였다. 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현행 중학교 기술․가정 교과의 교과용도서 책 구성 체제(기술, 가정의 병합 ①, ②권 체제)를 기술편’과‘가정편’으로 재구성하는 명확한 제도의 개정이 필요하다. 둘째, 교육과정의 취지를 살리기 위해서 현행 교과서 책 구성 체제가 기술편, 가정편으로 개선되어야 한다는 학교 현장의 기술․가정 교사들의 인식이 매우 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 2022 개정 교육과정에 따라 기술·가정과 교과서 개발 시 교과 내용의 실용성, 교과 지식의 전이성, 실습 및 체험을 통한 역동성, 다양한 평가 방식과 수행 평가를 통한 학습자의 긍정적 변화와 발달을 유도하는 방향으로의 노력이 필요하다. 이 연구를 통하여 기술․가정과의 교과 운영이 합리적이고 학습자와 교사 측면에서 모두 효과적인 학습과 교수가 이루어질 수 있도록 제도가 마련되는데 근거자료로 활용되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to improve the book structure of middle school technology․home economics subject textbooks. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the regulations on textbooks, notes on compilation, and the literature on improvement of technology․home economics subject textbooks were reviewed. In addition, an online survey was conducted targeting middle school technology․home economics subject teachers across the country. The contents of the questionnaire are about the effectiveness and the need for improvement of the current textbook system, the perception of reorganizing the textbook book structure into technology part and home economics part, and the main direction of future textbook development. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package, and the analysis methods were frequency analysis, basic statistics, and average analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to revise the system clearly so that the current system for composing textbooks for technology․home economics subject in middle school can be developed by dividing it into technology part and home economics part. Second, teachers are demanding that better subject education can be achieved if the current textbook book structure is developed by dividing it into technology part and home economics part. Third, when developing textbooks according to the 2022 revised curriculum, practicality of subject content, transferability of subject knowledge, dynamism through practice and experience, and various performance-oriented evaluations for positive change of students need to be considered as important factors. It is expected that this study will be used as a basis for establishing a system so that the curriculum management of technology․home economics subject is reasonable and effective learning and teaching can be achieved from both learners and teachers.
