음운변동 단원의 구성 및 기술에 대한 제언 - 고등학교 국어 교과서를 중심으로 -

국문 초록

이 글은 2015 개정 교육과정의 고등학교 국어 교과서 12종의 음운변동 관련 단원을 분석하고 검토하여 단원 구성 및 내용 기술의 측면에서 그 개선점을 제안하였다. 이 글에서는 단원 구성의 측면에서 음운변동 관련 내용과 한글맞춤법 관련 내용을 통합하거나 ‘학습내용’을 ‘학습활동’으로 통합하여 단원을 구성하는 것은 필수적인 학습 내용이 축소되거나 누락될 가능성이 있다는 점에서 주의가 필요하고, 이러한 단원 구성에 의해 축소되거나 누락된 내용은 보완되어야 함을 제안하였다. 내용 기술의 측면에서는 음운변동의 유형에 대한 설명이 제시되고, 음운변동의 규칙은 음운체계의 분류적 개념을 포함하여 동형적인 문장의 형식으로 명료하게 기술되어야 하며, 연속적인 음운변동에서의 규칙 적용의 순서가 제시되어야 함을 제안하였다. 또한 정확한 의미로 해석될 수 있는 간결한 기호를 사용해야 하며, 음운변동과 관련된 어문규정이 제시되어야 함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This article analyzed and reviewed the phonological variation chapters of 12 high school Korean textbooks in the 2015 revised curriculum, and suggested improvements in terms of composition of chapter and description of content. The improvements suggested in this article are as follows. : In terms of the composition of chapter, careful attention will be required in that to integrate the contents related to the phonological variation with the contents related to the Korean Orthography or to compose the chapter by integrating the part of ‘learning contents’ into ‘learning activities’ is likely to result in possibility that the essential learning contents can be reduced and omitted, and the contents reduced or omitted by this composition of chapter should be supplemented. In terms of the description of content, an explanation of the types of phonological variation should be presented, the rules of phonological variation should be clearly described in the same form of sentences, including the categorical concept of phoneme system, and the application order of rule in the chain of phonological variation should be presented. In addition, the concise symbols that can be interpreted as accurate meanings should be used, and the Korean language regulations related to phonological variation should be presented.
