행위자-네트워크 이론으로 본 과학적 실행의 현상 생성 사례

국문 초록

본 연구는 과학적 실행에서 현상 생성이 가지는 과학 학습의 의미를 행위자-네트워크 이론의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 행위자-네트워크 이론에서는 문제 제기, 관심 끌기, 등록하기, 동원하기의 네트워크 구축 과정에서 일어나는 인간 행위자와 비인간 행위자들의 연결을 과학적 실행의 본질로 접근하였다. 본 연구에서는 행위자-네트워크 이론의 관점으로 구조화된 탐구와 열린 탐구에서 현상을 생성하는 과학적 실행 사례를 탐색하고 과학 학습의 의미를 조망하였다. 이를 위해 과학적 실행에참여하는 행위자들의 종류와 역할을 분석하였고, 중요 행위자의 의무통과점 설정과 네트워크 구축 과정을 도식화하였다. 그결과 현상을 기반으로 하는 과학적 실행은 과학적 이해와 과학 학습의 적용 범위를 확장할 수 있음을 보이고, 비인간 행위자의 물질성이 현상을 생성하는 것과 같은 과학 학습에 중요한 요소로 작용함을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 과학 교육의 맥락에서 행위자-네트워크 이론이 가지는 시사점을 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

This study examined the meaning of scientific learning of phenomenon production in scientific practice from the perspective of actor-network theory. In the actor-network theory, they see the connection between human actors and nonhuman actors in the process of building a network of raising issues, attracting attention, registering, and mobilizing problems as the essence of scientific execution. In this study, the meaning of scientific learning was viewed from the perspective of actor-network theory in the case of scientific execution to create phenomena in structured inquiry and free inquiry. To this end, the types and roles of actors participating in scientific practice were analyzed, and the process of establishing mandatory passing points for important actors and establishing networks was schematized. As a result, it showed that phenomenon-based scientific practice can expand the scope of scientific understanding and scientific learning, and that the materiality of non-human actors served as an important factor in scientific learning including phenomenon production. Based on these results, it suggested implications of the actor-network theory in the context of science education.
