국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생 교육사각지대 학습자의 강점을 탐색하여 교육사각지대 학습자의 강점기반 교육을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등교사 421명을 대상으로 반구조화 개방형 온라인 설문지를 활용하여 조사한 후, 수정된 합의적 질적 연구 방법(CQR-M)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 초등학생 교육사각지대 학습자의 강점으로 3개의 영역과 20개의 범주가 도출되었다. 첫 번째 영역인 ‘개인강점’은 ‘온순하고 순수함’, ‘솔직한 자기표현’, ‘기본생활습관을 잘 유지함’, ‘해맑고 낙관적임’, ‘밝고 명랑함’, ‘책임감’의 6가지 범주로 분류되었다. 두 번째 영역인 ‘학습 강점’에서는 ‘특정 관심사에 대한 호기심’, ‘교사의 지도에 수용적인 태도’, ‘학습을 포기하지 않는 끈기’, ‘예체능 활동에 대한 관심과 소질’, ‘양육자의 자녀에 대한 교육적 관심’, ‘개별학습에서 능력 발휘’, ‘학습을 위한 적극적인 도움 요청 및 모방’의 7가지 범주가 도출되었다. 세 번째 영역인 ‘사회적 강점’은 ‘친화력’, ‘좋은 가족관계’, ‘친절을 베풂’, ‘협동심’, ‘타인의 입장을 이해하려 함’, ‘교사의 권위에 순응함’, ‘유머 감각’의 7가지 범주로 도출되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the strengths of at-risk learners in the blind spots of education in elementary school in order to prepare basic data for them. For this study, 421 elementary school teachers were surveyed using a semi-structured open online questionnaire, The response results were analyzed using modified Consensus Qualitative Research Method (CQR-M). As a result of the study, three domains and twenty categories were derived as strengths of at-risk learners in the blind spots of education in elementary school. The first domain ‘personal strengths’ is with 6 categories: ‘gentleness and innocence’, ‘honest self-expression’, ‘maintenance of fundamental habits’, ‘pureness and optimism’, ‘brightness and cheerfulness’, and ‘responsibility’. The second domain ‘learning strengths’ is with 7 categories: ‘curiosity about specific interests’, ‘receptive attitude toward teacher guidance’, ‘persistence in not giving up learning’, ‘interest and talent in arts and sports activities’, ‘educational interest in children of nurturers’, ‘display of ability in individual learning’, ‘active request for help and imitation for learning’. The third domain ‘social strengths’ is with 7 categories: ‘affinity’, ‘good family relationships’, ‘kindness’, ‘cooperation’, ‘effort to understand the point of view of others’, ‘conformity to teacher authority’, and ‘a sense of humor’. Finally, the meaning, limitations of the study and suggestions for further study were discussed.
