진로탐색행동과 관련 변인에 관한 메타분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 메타분석을 통해 진로탐색행동과 관련 변인 간 상관계수의 평균 효과크기를 밝히는데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 PRISMA flow chart의 문헌 선정 과정을 준용하여 문헌을 수집하였고 총 56편을 선정하여 분석에 활용하였다. R 프로그램의 메타분석 패키지인 ‘meta, metacor’를 활용하여 동질성 검정, 출간 편향 검정, 효과크기 분석을 실시하였고 효과크기는 Cohen(1988)이 제시한 기준에 따라 큰 효과크기, 중간 효과크기, 작은 효과크기의 세 가지로 구분하여 결과를 해석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 국내 진로탐색행동 관련 연구는 주로 대학생을 대상으로 수행되었고 최동선(2003)의 측정도구를 활용하였다. 둘째, 관련 선행 연구는 주로 진로탐색행동과 인지 변인 간 관계를 구명하였다. 셋째, 진로탐색행동은 정서 변인 내 정서지능, 전공만족도, 인지 변인 내 진로결정자기효능감, 진로탐색의도 등의 변인과 유의한 평균 효과크기를 보였다. 넷째, 진로탐색행동은 결과 변인으로서 진로의사결정 유형, 진로결정수준, 진로적응력과 유의한 평균 효과크기를 보였다. 다섯째, 진로탐색행동과 관련 변인 내 구성 요인별 효과크기 분석 결과, 자신에 대한 탐색과 관련 변인 간 관계와 직업에 대한 탐색과 관련 변인 간 관계의 결과에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 도출된 연구 결과를 토대로 연구의 결론 및 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to reveal the average effect size of correlation coefficients between career exploration behaviors and related variables through meta-analysis. To achieve the purpose of the study, the literature selection process of PRISMA flow chart was applied to the literature collection process, and a total of 56 literature were selected and used for analysis. Using the meta analysis package meta, metacor of R program, homogeneity test, publication bias test, effect size analysis were conducted. The results were interpreted into three categories, high effect size, medium effect size and low effect size, according to the criteria set by Cohen (1988). As a result of the study, first, research on career exploration behavior in Korea was conducted mainly on university students, and Choi(2003) measurement tools were utilized. Second, the relationship between career exploration behavior and cognitive variables were mainly explored. Third, Career exploration behavior showed significant average effect size with variables such as emotional intelligence, major satisfaction within emotional variables, career decision self-efficacy, and career exploration intention within cognitive variables. Fourth, career exploration behavior showed significant average effect size with outcome variables including career decision-making types, career decision level and career adaptability. Fifth, according to the analysis of the effect size of career exploration behavior and related variables, there is a difference in the relationship between self exploration and related variables and environment exploration and related variables. Finally, the conclusions and suggestions of the study were presented based on the results of the derived study.
