초등학생의 형성적 피드백 지각 척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학생의 형성적 피드백 지각 척도 개발 및 타당화를 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해, 관련 선행연구 검토, 초등교사 면담과 논의, 초등학생의 검토 등의 절차를 거쳐 예비척도 40문항을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 학생 496명의 응답 자료를 수집하였으며, 불성실하게 답하였거나 다변량 정규성을 충족하지 못한 45명의 응답을 제거하고 총 451명의 자료를 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 자료분석 기법은 Rasch 평정척도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 그리고 상관분석 등이다. 이 연구에서는 초등학생의 형성적 피드백 지각의 6개 하위요인(준비, 과정, 질문, 향상, 격려, 자기규제)에 대해 먼저 Rasch 평정척도모형 분석을 시도하였고, 이어 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 1차 5요인 모형을 최종 모형으로 확정하였다. 분석 결과, 초등학생의 형성적 피드백 지각 척도는 5개의 하위요인, 즉 비계의 준비요인 4문항, 과정요인 4문항, 질문요인 3문항, 그리고 모니터링의 향상요인 3문항, 격려요인 3문항으로 확정되었다. 또한, 각 하위요인은 통계적으로 유의한 상관과 높은 신뢰도를 보였으며, 척도의 하위요인은 기존 척도와의 비교에서 높은 상관을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서 개발한 초등학생의 형성적 피드백 지각 척도가 초등학생들의 피드백 지각 수준을 평가하고 학습 향상에 기여할 수 있는 도구로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to develop and validate the formative feedback perception scale for elementary school students. Firstly, this study developed forty preliminary items through literature review, interviews, and discussions. Response from 496 students in their sixth year of elementary school was collected out of which 45 responses were excluded for being unreliable or non-normal data and a total of 451 responses were analyzed. Rasch rating scale analyses, confirmatory factor analyses, and correlation analyses were conducted for data analysis. This study first conducted Rasch rating scale model analyses on the six sub-factors of the formative feedback perception of elementary school students—preparation, process, questioning, improvement, encouragement, and self-regulation—which was followed by confirmatory factor analyses, thereby developing the first five-factor scale as the final model. The formative perception scale for elementary school students had five sub-factors, comprising of four items each for preparation scaffolding and process scaffolding, three items for questioning scaffolding, three items for improvement monitoring, and three items for encouragement monitoring. It was noted that each sub-factor displayed a statistically significant correlation and high reliability. The sub-factors developed in this study obtained concurrent validity compared to the existing scales. The formative feedback perception scale for elementary students developed in this is expected to be used as a foundation for assessing elementary students’ level of feedback perception and will contribute to the improvement of learning for elementary school students.
