유아가 인식한 생태유아교사 이미지 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 바람직한 생태유아교사의 이미지 형성 및 생태유아교사 역할 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있도록 생태유아교사의 이미지에 대한 유아들의 인식을 분석하였다. 이미지 그림그리기 대상은 부산지역의 생태유아교육프로그램을 실천하는 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 4, 5세 유아 180명이며 교사면담 대상은 이미지 그림그리기에 참여한 유아들의 교사 10명이다. 유아들이 그린 그림, 유아들의 개별면담, 교사들의 개별면담 분석 결과에 기초하여 연구결과를 분석을 하였으며 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아가 인식한 생태유아교사의 외모 이미지는 꾸밈없는 편안한 옷차림, 화장기 없는 얼굴, 우리전통 지킴이로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아가 인식한 생태유아교사의 정서 이미지는 행복한 교사, 염려하고 걱정하는 교사, 감정이 솔직한 교사로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아가 인식한 생태유아교사의 역할 이미지는 포근한 우리 엄마, 신명나는 놀이 친구, 생명을 돌보는 농부로 나타났다. 유아들이 인식한 생태유아교사의 이미지는 유아들과의 관계를 통해 드러난 이미지로 생태유아교사의 자질과 역할에 대해 되돌아보는 기준을 제공함과 동시에 교사들이 나아가야 할 방향성을 제시하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine children s recognition of the elements that are a necessary part of establishing a desirable image and role of Eco-Early childhood teachers. The participants were 180 children 4～5 years old who attended Eco-child care centers in Busan, and 10 teachers involved in image drawing. This research is based on analysis of the pictures painted by children and individual interviews with children and teachers. The results are as follows. First, the typical image of an Eco-Early childhood teacher is someone with a natural and unaffected face and who wears comfortable clothing. Second, the emotional image of Eco-Early childhood teacher is of someone who is happy at the moment, anxious about their children, and emotionally honest. Third, the images that are frequently associated with an Eco-Early childhood teacher is a lovely mom, a friend who plays lightheartedly with children, and a farmer who cares for lives. The image of Eco-Early childhood teacher is the of someone who has a relationship with children, and it suggests a standard qualification and role of Eco-Early childhood teachers, and provides desirable guidance for Eco-Early childhood teachers.
