국문 초록

본 연구는 생태적 감수성을 바탕으로 시그림책을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 생태론적 시각이 반영되어 있는 것으로 간주되는 시그림책 7권을 최종 선정한 후, 글 텍스트와 그림 텍스트의 내용에서 생태적 감수성이 표출되어 있는 양상을 분석하고, 유아들의 생태적 감수성의 함양 및 증진에 있어서 어떠한 의미와 연관성이 있는지 고찰하였다. 연구 결과, 시그림책에서 생태적 감수성은 ‘어울림과 창조를 위한 사랑과 생명성’, ‘감각의 이미지를 통한 삶의 해학성’, ‘희망찾기를 향한 비움과 순수의 심미성’, ‘생태적 감수성의 회복을 통한 자연 회귀’로 드러났다. 본 연구는 유아들의 생태적 감수성을 증진시키는데 있어 시그림책의 역할, 유아교육현장에서의 시그림책의 활용 가능성 등에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze poetic picture books from the perspective of ecological sensitivity. A total of 7 poetic picture books deemed to reflect ecological ideas were selected for inclusion and the texts and illustrations were investigated in order to indentify all attributes related to ecological sensitivity. Each attribute was assessed for its ability to be meaningful of effective in the creation or development of ecological sensitivity in young children. The results showed that attributes found in the picture books could be largely categorized into four groups: love and vitality that orient reconciliation and creation, the humor of life on the basis of sensitive images, the aesthetics of emptiness and purity that symbolize hope, and a return to nature through the restoration of ecological sensitivity in young children and the possibility of utilizing such books in the field of early childhood education.
