국문 초록

본 연구는 구조주의 학교담론에서 종종 간과되어 왔던 ‘학습공간’에 대한 중요성과 변형적 가능성에 대한 탐구로써, 특히 현대학교가 배경으로 삼은 합리성, 장(場) 개념, 공간적 질서를 강조하는 구조주의적 교육관을 넘어서려는 입장에 선 후기구조주의적 시선에 비추어 오늘날 교실공간이 가지는 문제를 대안적 시선으로 탐구해 보고자 하였다. 무엇보다 현대학교의 공간적 질서를 상징하는 교실의 폐쇄성을 탈주하며 새로운 교육적 가치로 부각되고 있는 ‘숲 유치원’에서 숲공간의 의미에 초점을 두어 어린이들의 놀이와 연계하여 연구가 이루어 졌다. 숲은 유치원 교실을 포함한 놀이공간에 비해 상대적으로 기표와 기의가 느슨하게 결합된 공간으로 이 점은 유아들의 놀이에서 ‘차이와 생성’, 다양성이 인정되는 ‘차연의 놀이 공간’을 열고, 다양체와의 만남을 가능하게 하고 새로운 놀이 내용과 장(場)으로 안내하는 리좀적 놀이를 이끌었다. 또한, 상호이미지의 중첩과 변이가 자유롭고, 해석의 상호텍스트성이 허용되는 공동의 시물라크르 변주놀이가 가능하였다. 이러한 숲 공간에서의 유아 놀이에 관한 견해는 구조주의 이후를 살아가고 있는 우리에게 후기구조주의 시선과 유아 놀이의 관계성을 예측해 보게 하며, 숲공간에서 유아들의 놀이를 재접근해 볼 수 있는 새로운 가능성을 갖게 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of ‘Learning Space’ which has been disregarded in modern Schools building upon the structuralistic perspectives. Especially this study focused on the significant of learning space in connection with young preschooler s play in Forest School and Forest Kindergarten which is seen as an way of escaping from the classroom spatial order in modern school. The data were collected from September to November in 2012, including researchers participatory observations on preschooler s daily activity happened in the Forest, and interviews with them and the teachers. The results of the study indicated that forest is a space where signifier and signified are relatively loosely combined, compared with play space including kindergarten classroom. This feature makes play space of Différance where diversity, diffrerence and ‘devnier’ are accepted in preschooler play, makes it possible to meet multiplicite and creates Rhizome play which leads to new contents of play and place. In addition, the mutual overlap and variation of the image is free, interpretation of intertextuality is allowed to play co-variation of the ‘simulacru’ was possible. These forests play in space on the opinion of the preschooler who live with us after the post-structuralism, create, and ‘simulacru’ term relationships and preschooler s play predict and see the forest from the preschooler s play area can try to re-access will have new possibilities.
