국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육 현장에서 근무하고 있는 교사들의 융합교육에 대한 인식 및 운영실태를 조사 분석하는데 있다. 융합교육에 대한 교사의 인식을 살펴보기 위해 전문가집단, 유아교사 등과의 협의 및 문헌분석을 통해 연구도구인 설문지를 개발한 후 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 설문문항은 융합교육에 대한 인식 및 필요성, 유아교육현장에서의 적용에 대한 인식, 운영실태, 원할한 운영을 위한 요구 등으로 구성되어 있으며 총 17문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 재직하고 있는 유아교사 273명 이였으며 수집된 자료는 -검증, t-검증, 일원변량분석을 통해 분석하였으며 사후검증은 Scheffe 검증을 사용하였다. 분석결과 융합교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식은 교사의 기관유형, 경력, 담당연령에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구결과는 개정누리과정 상황에서 영유아교사들이 STEAM 교육을 제공하는데 유의한 기초자료를 제공한 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze early childhood teachers’ perceptions and implementation status of STEAM education. In order to examine teachers perceptions of STEAM education, a questionnaire was developed through consultation with expert groups and early childhood teachers and literature review, and then survey data were collected. The questionnaire consists of 17 questions in total, including awareness and necessity of STEAM education, perceptions of application in the field of early childhood education, implementation status, and demand for smooth operation. The subjects of this study were 273 early childhood teachers working in kindergartens and daycare centers. The collected data were analyzed through -test, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Scheffe s test was used for post-hoc tests. As a result of the analysis, it was found that early childhood teachers perceptions of STEAM education were partially significantly different depending on the background variables of the teachers. The results of this study are considered to have provided significant basic data for early childhood teachers to provide STEAM education in the context of the revised Nuri Curriculum.
