병사의 군 생활 적응 관련 변인 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 병사의 군 생활 적응과 관련된 변인들에 대한 연구 결과를 종합하고 효과크기를 산출3하여 그 의미를 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 연구선정 과정을 거쳐 국내 학술연구논문 60편을 최종 선정하여 메타분석 하였다. 분석을 통해 692개의 효과크기와 함께 46개의 하위 변인을 도출해냈다. 46개의 하위 변인들을 ‘개인 내적 보호변인’, ‘개인 내적 위험변인’, ‘개인 외적 보호변인’, ‘개인 외적 위험변인’의 4개 변인군으로 구분하고 전체 효과크기 및 하위 변인별 효과크기를 CMA2를 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4개 변인군에서 모두 유의한 효과크기를 나타냈다. 그 중 ‘개인 외적 보호변인’의 효과크기가 가장 크게 나타났으며, 다음으로 ‘개인 내적 보호변인’, ‘개인 외적 위험변인’, ‘개인 내적 위험변인’순이었다. 둘째, 각 변인군에 따라 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 하위 변인을 살펴본 결과, 개인 내적 보호변인은 ‘공동체 의식’, 개인 내적 위험변인은 ‘초기부적응도식’, 개인 외적 보호변인은 ‘조직 소속감’, 개인 외적 위험변인은 ‘군 생활 스트레스’로 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 함께 한계를 제시하고 후속연구에 대한 방향성을 안내하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to estimate the mean effect size of the relation between military life adjustment and its related variables. For this, 60 domestic academic studies were selected and 692 effect sizes were calculated. Categorized into ‘internal protection variables’, ‘internal risk variables’, ‘external protection variables’, ‘external risk variables’ and analyzed the overall effect size and the effect size by sub-variants using CMA2. The results of this meta-analysis are as follows. First, the effect size of all four variable groups were significant. Among them, the effect size of the ‘external protection variables’ was the largest, followed by ‘the internal protection variables’, ‘the external risk variables’, and ‘the internal risk variables’. Second, the sub-variables that have the most influence on each variable group were ‘community consciousness’ in the external protection variables, ‘early maladaptive schemas’ in the internal risk variables, ‘organizational connectedness’ in the external protection variables, and ‘military life stress’ in the external risk variables. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of this study are discussed and the guidelines for future studies are suggested.
