국문 초록

본 연구는 북한이탈주민 어머니의 신분노출과 자녀의 정체성 형성에 대한 경험과 의미를 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 활용해 탐색하였다. 연구결과, ‘어머니 고향이 어디든 나는 한국인’ 등 11개의 중심의미와 ‘출생지와 학령기에 따라 어머니 고향을 이해하는 시각 차이’, ‘어머니 고향을 이해하기 위해 노력함’, ‘어머니의 고향으로부터 독립된 한국인 정체성’, ‘작은 통일부터 실현시키는 정책 마련하기’ 라는 4개의 드러난 주제로 나타났으며, 최종적으로 ‘나는 지금 대한민국 사람이다’ 라는 본질적 주제로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 북한이탈주민 가족을 위한 사회적 인식제고, 가족 내 강한 결속력 유지, 긍정적 의사소통과 양육지원, 정서적·사회적 지지망의 강화, 관련기관의 재정립과 역량강화 등에 관한 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study explored the experiences and meanings of North Korean refugee mothers identity exposure and child identity formation using Giorgi s phenomenological research method. The study showed 11 centralities, including Korean Where My Mother s Hometown Is Where I Am, and four main themes, Different perspectives on understanding my mother s hometown according to birth place and school age, Efforting to understand my mother s hometown, Korean Identity Independent from Mother s Hometown and Proposing Policies to Realize Small Unification, and finally, I am Korean Now. Through this, this study derives implications for raising social awareness for North Korean refugee families, maintaining strong family ties, positive communication and parenting support, strengthening emotional and social support networks, and re-establishing related institutions and strengthening their capabilities.
