영성체험의 효과와 영성체험에 대한 현상학적 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 영성체험이 인간의 영성과 심리에 긍정적 효과를 미친다는 그리스도교 신자들의 경험적 사실을 통계적으로 검증하고 인간의 영성과 심리에 긍정적 효과를 미치는 영성체험 현상의 구조와 본질을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 영성체험 프로그램으로는 가톨릭의 성령세미나를 선택하였고 통합연구 모형의 순차적 설계에 따라 두 개의 연구를 진행하였다. 양적 연구 방법인 첫 번째 연구에서 영성체험이 영성, 주관적 안녕감, 자아 존중감, 내면화된 수치심의 수준에 미치는 효과는 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 현상학적 연구인 두 번째 연구에서는 영성체험을 관통하는 핵심적 본질이 ‘자신이 하느님의 사랑을 받고 있는 소중한 존재라는 사실에 대한 깨달음’이라는 것이 밝혀졌다. 이 연구의 최종 단계에서는 두 연구의 결과를 종합하여 ‘영성체험 설명모델’을 도출하였다. 연구의 마지막 부분에서는 이 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 추후 연구에 대한 제언이 논의되었다. 이 연구는 상담자들에게 인간의 보편적 특성으로서의 영성을 중요하게 여겨야 하며 내담자의 영성과 심리의 회복에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 영성체험의 효과를 제시하는 경험적 자료이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to test statistically the Christians’ experience spiritualityexperience has positive effects on the psychology and spirituality of human, and reveal the essence of the phenomena of spiritualityexperience through the Holy Spirit-experience. The Charismatic Renewal-Seminar as spirituality-experience program was used for this study and two studies were done through the sequential study of mixed methodology. In the quantitative research, the effects of spiritualityexperience on the spirituality, subjective well-being, self-esteem, and internalized-shame were statistically significant. In the phenomenological research, the essence of spirituality-experience was the enlightenment ‘I am a valuable being loved by God.’ On the final stage, this study made ‘Spirituality-Experience Explanation Model’ through the synthesis of findings pre-studied. Lastly the significances, limitations of this study and recommendations for future studies were discussed. This study is the experiential data suggesting to counsellors the importance of spirituality and the positive effects of spirituality-experience on the psychology and spirituality of clients.
