모델 적합도를 이용한 교사용 인식론적 신념 검사도구 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 기존의 인식론적 신념과 관련된 연구를 통해 고안된 문항 내용이 동서양의 문화적 차이를 반영하지 못하는 한계점을 보완하고자 모델 적합도를 이용하여 한국 실정에 적합한 검사도구를 개발하고 타당화 하였으며 이를 바탕으로 교사의 인식론적 신념의 구조를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 지식의 단순성, 지식의 확실성, 앎의 원천, 앎의 정당화, 학습 능력, 학습 노력, 학습 과정, 학습 속도인 7개의 하위요인으로 구성된 53문항의 검사도구를 제작하였다. 제작된 검사도구를 241명의 초등교사에게 투입하여 탐색적 요인분석을 수행한 결과를 토대로 학습 속도를 제외한 7개의 요인에 해당하는 27개의 문항으로 구성된 검사도구를 개발하였다. 또한, 확인적 요인분석을 통해 타당도를 검정하고, 7개의 하위요인의 인식론적 신념체계를 파악하기 위해 다양한 모델을 설정하고 모델 적합도 지수를 통해 최적의 모델을 탐색하였다. 그 결과, 인식론적 신념 구조는 단일요인보다는 다요인이, 단일차원보다는 다차원의 모델이 지지되었으며, 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 인식론적 신념의 3차원 구조에 대한 가능성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, a suitable test tool for the Korean situation was developed and validated by supplementing the limitations resulting from cultural differences between the East and West in test tools related to epistemological beliefs. Based on this scale, the structural model of the optimal epistemological belief was confirmed. For this purpose, eight sub-factors such as organization of knowledge, certainty of knowledge, source of knowing, justification of knowing, ability of learning, effort of learning, process of learning, and speed of learning, and 53 corresponding items were extracted from previous studies to produce a preliminary test tool. Through exploratory factor analysis for this test tool, a test tool consisting of seven factors and 27 questions excluding learning speed was finally developed. The validity was tested through confirmatory factor analysis, and various models were formulated to understand what structure the seven sub-factors form and how they constitute epistemological beliefs. The optimal model was explored through the model suitability index. In conclusion, the epistemological belief structure supported a multi-factor rather than a single factor and a multi-dimensional model, rather than single dimension. Based on these results, the possibility of a three-dimensional structure model of epistemological beliefs was discussed.
