저경력 유아교사들의 2019 개정 누리과정 운영 경험

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 저경력 유아교사들이 2019 개정 누리과정을 어떻게 인식하고 경험하고 있는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 6명의 연구참여자를 선정하여 3회의 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하여 분석, 해석하였다. 그 결과로는 첫째, 저경력 유아교사들은 교직 생활에 적응하여 교육과정을 운영하는데 익숙해질 때쯤 2019 개정 누리과정을 알게 되었고, 새로운 교육과정을 운영하려고 하니 이전 교육과정의 지침서처럼 분명한 기준이 없음에 의문을 갖게 되며 두려움을 느끼고 있었다. 둘째, 저경력 유아교사들은 2019 개정 누리과정 운영을 위해 각자에게 맞는 기록화와 놀이결과보고서를 작성하였고, 다양한 연수나 SNS를 활용하여 교육과정 운영에 도움을 받고자 하며 동료 교사들과 함께 효율적인 교육과정을 운영하고자 하였다. 셋째, 저경력유아교사들은 다양한 노력과 더불어 2019 개정 누리과정을 운영할 때 교사의 역할을 재정립하고 있었다. 넷째, 6명의 연구참여자들은 공통적으로 2019 개정 누리과정을 운영하며 비슷한 변화를 경험하였다. 본 연구는 저경력 유아교사들이 새로운 교육과정을 운영하면서 경험하는 것과 교육과정에 적응하며 변화하는 모습을 담아내며 이들의 어려움과 지원요구를 밝혀내고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study explored how low experienced kindergarten teachers perceived and experienced the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum, the Korean national level curriculum. Six kindergarten teachers participated in the research and were interviewed three times each for data collection. Findings were as follows: First, teachers had concerns at first due to no clear standards specified in contrast to previous curriculum guidelines. Second, however, the teachers were able to create and use their own observation tools for documenting and taking a note children’s play based on their own understandings of the guidelines. They also utilized peer advices, SNS, and varied teacher training programs to manange the new curriculum. Third, the participants redefined their positions as teachers by taking on the roles of applicants, proposers, play participants, and observers in the curriculum. Last, all six teachers experienced analogous changes to one another in the operation of the 2019 revised Nuri program. The research findings showed how teachers with low experience struggled to manage the new curriculum between what they understand about the curriculum guidelines and the national curriculum requirements.
