18∼35개월 영유아와 어머니 기질 군집에 따른 조화적합성과 양육 스트레스와 정서행동문제와의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니와 영유아의 기질 특성에 따른 군집유형을 분류하고, 어머니의 양육 스트레스와 영유아의 정서 행동 문제와의 관계를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 18∼35개월 자녀의 어머니 223명을 대상으로 어머니의 기질, 영유아의 기질, 양육 스트레스(K-PSI-SF)와 정서 행동 문제(K-CBCL 1.5-5)를 묻는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니와 영유아의 기질 특성에 따른 군집분석을 실시한 결과 어머니의 경우, ‘회피-비활동형’, ‘안정-조절형’, ‘불안정-억제형’의 3개의 군집, 영유아의 경우, ‘자기통제-조절형’, ‘평범한-조절형’, ‘회피-비통제형’의 3개 군으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 기질 군집조화에 따른 양육 스트레스와 정서 행동 문제는 어머니의 ‘안정-조절형’과 영유아의 ‘자기통제-조절형’ 조합에서 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 어머니의 ‘회피-비활동형’과 영유아의 ‘회피-비통제형’ 조합에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 어머니와 자녀의 기질적 특성의조화 적합성을 바탕으로 한 개별적 양육 상담이나 부모교육 프로그램을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study classified cluster types according to the temperament characteristics of mothers and infants, and attempted to explore the relationship between mother s parenting stress and infant emotional behavior problems. To this end, a survey was conducted on 223 mothers of children aged 18 to 35 months nationwide asking about their mother s temperament, infant s temperament, parenting stress (K-PSI-SF), and emotional behavior problems (K-CBCL 1.5-5). The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of cluster analysis according to the temperament characteristics of mothers and infants, it was classified into three groups: avoidance-inactive, stable-regulated, and insecurity-suppressed, and avoidance-controlled for infants and toddlers. Second, parenting stress and emotional behavior problems caused by temperament group harmonization were the lowest in the mother s stability-regulated and infant s self-control-regulated combinations, and the highest in the mother s avoidance-inactive and infant s avoidance-non-controlled combinations. Through the results of this study, it is expected that individual parenting counseling or parent education programs based on the harmoniousness of the temperamental characteristics of mothers and children can be provided.
